This thing is a solid upgrade to the atn3600l!
I have two turntables with the Audio Technica atn3600l cart: a Heyday (target brand) and a Victrola Revolution Go. The 3600L is a very decent, entry-level moving magnet cartridge cart.... way, way better than the ceramic junk on the suitcase turntables by Crosley, etc. After a couple months of content listening on both of the mentioned turntables, I began to see if there was an upgradable stylus and decided to give this LP Gear styli a chance... wow, it's great. I found some of the sounds of not just old vinyl but some newer 180-gram purchases had the "shrill" problem with the highs that sound so out of control some (but not all) the time. Not just that, but the dreaded IGD (inner groove distortion) was a problem on almost all my records. That part I cannot take. These issue are gone. No more shrill of the highs and the IGD anymore. The sounds is very balanced. If you do get this on the Heyday, you will need to reduce the tracking force a little bit to 2.5 grams. It's super easy to do. Lighter tracking force is less wear and tear on your records so you win in that area as well! Everything sounds more balanced is the quickest description I can give. The bass / mid / highs really do sound equally represented. And there is consistency across each style of music in my collection. The 3600L didn't sound nearly as good with harder rock as it did with more "airy" stuff like acoustic music or jazz music with saxophone and piano. It's all equally good with this "elliptical" stylus. For $45, you have to do it. My turntable sounds like I have something better than entry-level now - that is how much of a difference this has made. I've had it for 10-12 days now. I listen for around 2-3 hours every day. I think the break-in time is around 20 hours. I can hear a difference today compared to when I first got it for sure. It's just mellowed out and sounds more consistent across the board. Be careful on how to install. It's different from some of the other styli I have messed with. Look on youtube for "install LP Gear stylus" or install 3600L. Recordology is the user on youtube that shows exactly how to install this the easiest way.

Great replacement stylus
The original stylus on my SONY USB turntable finally wore out and I was in need of replacement. I thought of buying a SONY direct replacement, but I came across this one and it received good reviews. I made the purchase and it was easy to install. The sound quality is great.

Made that turntable I purchased used off of craigslist Sound like gold
I got a sony ps-lx250h used off of craigslist a few years ago. I had to replace the belt at one point and I also had to do the whole thing where you adjust the speed. It's a very basic starter turntable. In recent times I've been collecting a lot of old vinyl and some new vinyl too, My test subject upon the new install is a copy of "the birds the bees and The Monkees." The copy I have is probably 55 years old. I love this record but when I had the previous stylus on the turntable the record sounded kind of distorted and shrill. Not terrible or unlistenable but it was noticeable. So I was considering buying a brand new turntable. Maybe something more high-end? My finances are not allowing that right now so I came across this stylus and I said let me give it a shot. So I popped it on since I knew what this record player sounded like previously... It's a huge difference! Everything sounds warmer and the distortion I was getting before is really gone. Yes, it's still a 55-year-old record. I probably need to clean it. It has some pops and whatnot, but this stylus really really makes a difference. And thank you to the seller for replacing the package that was stolen from front door. Can't wait to listen to some more records!

Great sound and value
A very nice "upgrade" for a "budget" set up (AT-LP60, Fossil mini power Amp, Douk Audio tube pre-amp, JBL control 25 AV speakers, 12 gauge cable). Passes the "Steely Dan Aja test". Great clarity! Was very pleased (and stocked up)!!

Excellent sound but a bit of a pain in the neck to install
I got this as an upgrade to the ATN 3600L stylus that came with my Audio-Technica LP60X-GM turntable. I actually got the turntable a few years ago as a secondary player but just started using it, since my other secondary one stopped working. Anyway, there's a definite upgrade in sound quality. Also, a suggestion--add a cork mat and everything will sound even better. Does it sound as good as my main turntable, a Denon DP-300P with an Ortofon Red cartridge? Nope. It's not an audiophile table but if you connect it with good speakers (I have a couple of Cambridge Soundworks bookshelf ones), it'll still sound above average. It was a bit tricky to install, though. So use care.

10/10
Really fantastic stylus. While I don't know that it is any improvement on the stock conical tip, it tracks beautifully and I don't detect any sibilance. Perfect replacement, thanks LP Gear.

Great upgrade for AT-LP60!
I replaced the white stylus cartridge that comes with the AT-LP60 with this one and there is a definite and noticeable improvement in sound to me. I’ve replaced that stylus regularly with the same white cartridge and only recently thought to look if there’s a better option out there, so it wasn’t like I was using a stylus that was way overdue for replacing before this one either. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Affordable Upgrade
Recently, I decided to move away from Bluetooth speakers and get proper phone preamp, amp, and a set of passive speakers in search for that warm vinyl sound. As the last step in this series of upgrades, I decided to swap out my AT LP60 stock cartridge. Did some research and this particular cartridge kept coming up as a good choice. Purchased it on Amazon and the seller did a great job with super fast shipping. Install was a breeze and combined with all my other recent upgrades, did this make quite a difference. Haven’t noticed any worsening of skips compared to the stock cartridge.
