Probably the best showerhead in the world, if your house has the pressure and hot water for it
This is an epic showerhead. There are a few things you should know though!- For the full effect, remove the pressure limiter. Then you will get a real rain shower effect and it is incredible, though it uses more water.- You need good water pressure. I have a pressure limiter set to 80psi and it works a dream.- You need a good sized water tank. It's probably 5gpm at 80psi with the pressure limiter removed. We have 160gal of hot water but if you have a 40gal water tank that's going to be a problem.- It is expensive. You can get better value for money at 1/4 the price and it might be 80% as good. The extra 20% is going to cost you $600.- The way it mixes air in with the water means that you feel WET from the moment you get in. Much wetter than a regular shower. You can stand under it and still breathe because of the amount of air mixed into the water. We first encountered this showerhead in a premium hotel and I wrote down the brand and model so we could have the same experience at home. We loved it so much that we spent nearly $800 to get that exact same experience every day.Is it worth it? For us - YES, we love it. As you can see from other reviews, not everyone agrees. Take the notes above into account before you purchase to decide if this premium shower head is for you.

Wonderful Rainshower!
This showerhead really justifies the investment-grade price:--Design, materials, construction and finish are impeccable.--In use, it feels absolutely like you are showering in the rain. We attribute this to the combination of very effective aeration, which creates soft droplets, and the large area covered by the showerhead. A smaller head with the same aeration might have the soft droplets, but the total effect would not be the same.--The showerhead feels like it delivers a high volume of water, even though it's limited to 2.5 gpm. We thought flow would feel lower due to the large surface area yet have been pleasantly surprised by the sensation that we're getting a large volume of water. Again, likely a function of the aeration. We use a Grohe showerpipe system with adjustable flow and do not need to turn it to the max to get a satisfying volume of water.A couple of caveats:--If you prefer the feeling of a stream of water, this showerhead is likely not a good choice.--If you have ceiling lighting already in your shower, the showerhead may block some or all of the light. It's that large. Also, the mirror-like finish of the top surface will reflect light back on to your ceiling. If you are building a shower with lighting and plan to use this head, double-check the positioning of your light(s) relative to position of the showerhead before you rough in the wiring.

Made in Germany with brass parts inside controlling water fliw.
I liked that it covers the whole body with 200 + nozzles providing a excellent rain shower experience. Even though my wife prefers the muscle relaxing features of our old Grohe Champagne shower head, she has tolerated a slower water flow but from a 12 inch showerhead. We used an extender bar to keep the showerhead from being to close to the wall. This extender was made of a rigid nickel alloy so that it can support the heavy weight of the showerhead.

Really nice showerhead. Like standing in a (warm) rainshower.
The 12" model is a bit expensive, but worth it. I had one for over a decade before it finally rusted out and I had to replace it. (My water is well-water, and has a lot of mineral content, so plumbing fixtures do tend to deteriorate more than in "big city" water systems.)Unfortunately, I live in over-regulated California, where the "water police" prohibit any showerhead that exceeds (or can exceed, depending on water pressure) 1.8 gallons-per-minute. Now, with my lower water pressure (30-50 psi), even the 12" head doesn't use more than 1.8 gpm, but who says California law has to be logical. (The rules were put in place for cities like Los Angeles, where they don't want ten million people using all of the available water. But I pump my own water from my own well, so it should be MY decision how much of it to use. Rant off.)Bottom line: I had the item shipped to an out-of-state friend who gladly brought it on her next visit. Now I have my shower back.

...Like standing under a waterfall...
This product is wonderful, so far.Ordered this 6/2016 for a small washroom project.I was originally using a cheapy plastic Waterpik rainshower head from home depot. It's a little high end but you get what you pay for.The chrome look is very nice as well.Pros:- If you are looking for a waterfall / rain shower effect, this is the one you need.- Feeling of standing right underneath a rainshower.- Feeling of freshness after bathing.- Large diameter covers a large area.- Ideally can be used as a ceiling mount, I've used this with a the Hansgrohe 27413001 Shower Arm, 15-Inch in Polished Chrome (a bit expensive, but strong enough to ear the weight of this shower head).- Very sturdy design.Cons:- Pricey- No adjustable shower spray modes- Needs adequate water pressure to work effectively.

Awesome showerhead
Excellent shower head. I have very hard water and have had no issues with the nozzles clogging. The fact that this head pulls air from the center means that it really does produce an authentic "rain-like" experience. Quality of the material is top-notch. I paired this with a Hansgrohe 90 degree shower arm for additional height. Installation was super simple. I've never purchased a bathroom fixture this expensive before, but it was well worth it.
