Proper application and clean up.
Used the color "Iron" on three different floors and plan on using the black on tub surround tile walls. Will not leave haze if you clean properly and if you float excess off when applying. You need to give it time to dry but don't let it set completely. With a room temp of 69 degrees it dries to the point of where you need to start cleaning in about 30 minutes which is perfect because I don't like having to wait around bored watching it dry. Usually by the time you get yourself backed out of the room entry you can start cleaning on the section where you first started applying grout. To clean you need to have 2 five gallon buckets 3/4 full of clean water waiting and be able to dump and fill those buckets as needed. I always use two sponges one in each hand. You wipe with once per side and not in a scrubbing motion unless you are trying to get extra build up removed. Once per side of the sponge allows for faster results and you are not dragging the grout back out of the joints smearing it back on the tile. It may seem slower than the natural wiping motion but it's not because you only have to pull through once per section and it's clean. Use as little water as possible and rinse sponges as soon as you have used all sides once. Maintain fairly clean water or you are just making a mess. Once you have sponged it one time get off of it. Let it cure completely and you can use a dish detergent pod in a bucket of warm water to get the rest of any residue off. The key is to use as little water as possible and let it dry between cleaning. Final cleaning can be done with a towel and vacuum.

Bag showed up with powder blowing all over the shipping box
Instructions are illegible, and seemingly no way to portion the 10lb bag, it's one bag to 1.1 ounces of water. Exactly how am I supposed to figure out a portion based on that? Sure, spending time working out the logical math would do it, OR, I can just get a different product and get right to the actual work I'm looking to do. This stuff was a complete waste of time and money, and is going right in the garbage.Update: As another review mentions, I made my way to the absurdly complex MAPEI website. While I did find my way to the info I was looking for, it took me an aggravating hair-pulling 2 hours to figure out where the info was, and it was still littered with a ton of overly verbose warnings. Basically, these folks are psychologically demented. If that's who you want to spend your money with, knock yourself out. Hint: you probably will.

Holds dust like crazy
This product was recommended by the sales person at our big box flooring specialty store. Raved about how it has the sealer built into it. Gave us explicit instructions on how to apply it. Luckily our contractor was familiar with the product. Well, needless to say, getting any sort of construction dust out of it seems nearly impossible. This sat for at least a week before our drywall people came back and we are having a hell of a time getting it clean! We are at our wits end!
