Yes, you might be able to use it as a replacement for a glass decanter.
I suspect that a lot of the questions I see online inquiring about models it fits and size are trying to do what I wanted to do / did, which is replace a glass decanter in a traditional maker with a warming plate.I have a WC simple pourover that uses a single warming plate. I usually take my coffee over 4-6 hours and I don't like warmed coffee - it "boils down" and gets acidic. Microwaving works better, but its still not perfect. For years I worked at a place that had a brew through pourpot, and it kept the coffee hot and fresh for hours. I wanted that at home. After reading over and over and over the dimensions and playing with a tape measure and hemming and hawing, I finally bought one of these. And it JUST barely fits. As others have noted, its 7" tall. Maybe even 7 1/64. My glass decanter was around 6 1/2", so it wasOn my maker with an OE WC plastic filter baske, the 7" pourpot JUST fits. Some other filter baskets like the metal or Bunn might not fit. Its so tight, you actually have to set the pourpot on first, then slide in the filter basket. I could potentially file away some of the drip nozzle and the feet on the filter basket, but I like the feet as they are so I won't be making any mods. I could also possible remove the warming plate and replace it with a sheet of stainless. That's more likely to happen.Either way, I'm happy. It keeps the coffee warm for hours like I expected. Even at 12 hours its still warm to the touch.

Good commercial quality carafe
I purchased this for a Curtis low-profile 640z pour over coffee brewer. This thermal vacuum insulated carafe definitely does a good job of keeping the coffee hot for an extended period of time compared to a traditional glass carafe. The lid is easy to take on and off once I figured it out. I like that it doesn't drip unlike my last coffee maker which was cheapy residential grade brand. Note that it must be washed by hand and without use of strong detergents containing chlorine (like bleach and scouring powder). You are supposed to use coffee brewer cleaner filter pouches or tablets, which you set inside the brewer basket and it cleans the pot by brewing a cycle and then rinsing it. There are also specially formulated liquid cleaners just for carafes that you can also use including a brush which fits inside these carafes. This is a durable commercial grade coffee carafe and I recommend it.

Wowzers!!!
I had this in my cart a while and I was a little reluctant to buy it because I have 2 insulated pots that are similar that came with my Bunn home brewer. I never liked that particular brewer because the coffee never tasted as good as the brewer with the glass pots so I bought a serious commercial Bunn brewer and knowing that was the best coffee ever, I tried the dreaded insulated decanters that I have. Well, now I know it wasn't the brewer, it's the decanters so when I saw this on sale, I jumped on it and I am so glad I did. This is a serious decanter that keeps coffee HOT for hours. I like to make a full pot and drink it as I work around the house without having to reheat. Usually takes about 3 hours to empty the pot. I tried the pot last night when I got it with half a pot and I was pretty impressed. The coffee stayed HOT until the last drop. That never happens. This morning I made a full pot and 2 1/2 hours later I am still working on it and the coffee seems as hot as when I brewed it. I am very happy with the decanter and highly recommend. Try it, you'll like it!!! If not and I highly doubt it, Amazon has ez returns. All of the above is true but after many washings I noticed this absorbed water or coffee or ? in the screw top and I tossed this pot bc I didn’t want to take the chance of whatever was in the lid pouring into my coffee cup. I tried to shake it out but no luck😞

it feels like a very nice pot for coffee
Having had this pot now for a month, it feels like a very nice pot for coffee... Keeps coffee hot for several hours, assuming you preheat the inside using hot water. No drips when pouring. Handle fits the hand well, and while a slow pour, still very useful. Feels sturdy, and nothing is loose. Built well.

Handy Carafe
This is the handiest carafe I've ever used. It keeps the contents hot for several hours, and once the lid is on it, there's no more work to it. Simply tilt the carafe to pour - nothing to unscrew or lift and no buttons to push or pull.

Did not fit
Lovely carafe. Nice quality. Sadly - does not fit the base of my Bunn coffee maker. Will need to return.

Works perfect
Keeps the coffee hot for at least 6hrs. Very important if your using a home coffee pot this most likely not work. I have a commercial coffee maker and have been searching for a good thermos to keep the coffee hot. This item is perfect. The coffee is brewed directly In and once closed keeps the coffee hot for hours.
