Giant well mad costume - your friends will love it!
I won the costume contest with this one! (Disclaimer I bought a Cathuloo face mask from another Amazon seller to complete the costume). This inflatable is crazy well designed and kept me inflated the entire night. I swear this is worth the money. Plus it's huge! I'm 5ft 4 inches and I fit in it fine and it made me look like a giant. The squid head goes up so high. I had so much fun wearing this costume.

Used for "Giant Squid attacking Lowe's Deepsea Diver" Halloween Display!
I'm sure this would be a great costume, and both of my teenage daughters said they'd love to try it on for Halloween night!However- I bought it to be used in a tableaux for my Lowe's Deepsea Diver for my indoor haunt attraction! As you can see from the pictures, the squid needs some "plugging" of the arm, leg, and face openings before it can be inflated. I used a bunch of hand towels rolled up and stuffed into the holes. Also, I needed to plug a dual usb charger port into the two usb cables that run the inflation fans, then to an extension cord with a remote control plug. The squid is indeed a massive Kraken, and the parachute type fabric is a nice quality. I like the orange color, as it plays nicely against the green/blue lighting. The eyes are different from other reviewed costumes, so I can't tell you what you'll get, but mine are the prints of actual eyeballs, not a "+" or cross-style like others pictured in the previous reviews. The diver is 6' tall, and conveniently has two automated phrases that coincide with fighting a giant undersea monster! I added some wave motion LED lights and some "shiprweck debris" (two wooden curtain poles and some creepy cloth) along with a skeleton of one of the squid's victims.*I do have the squid lying across the coffee table that is normally in the room, so that he has some height and that also allows the lower tentacles to drape and droop without rolling the whole costume over.Only two gripes:1-The fans are a bit noisy, and there's really not much I can do about that, so it's only one of two negatives.2-The usb cables coming out of the fan motors are rather short; I understand that this was made to be a costume and not a prop, but another six inches of cable would have really helped my project be a lot easier to keep plugged in. The dual port usb block doesn't have enough "grip" to keep the cables plugged in, and one or both often pull loose from the block, making the whole thing deflate.Once again, these gripes are reserved for using this as a static prop in a scene, and the fact that it's not easy to climb in and out of the display area has caused a small bit of frustration.Overall, a great inflatable thaat is a perfect addition to any Undersea Monster Halloween display, and a very sturdy costume that would be sure to get lots of attention when worn!

Be Bold. It's Worth it.
As a normally reserved and self-conscious person in front of strangers, this costume was the best costume I have ever worn and allowed me to have the best Halloween party experience I have ever had. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE loved this costume! So many people wanted to take pictures with me and every game and interaction was made hilarious by simply being in this costume. By the end of the party when I left, strangers were chanting "Squid! Squid! Squid!" as I said goodbye because they loved it so much.I absolutely recommend this costume for any Halloween event. It is hilarious, surprisingly easy to wear, and let me come out of my shell in front of people I didn't know. This costume was not nearly as expensive as other costumes I had been looking at. It was surprisingly cool with the fans going inside it, I was able to sit down in it, and still able to participate in games. I bought orange duct tape in case I got any rips in the costume because the party was in a garage and outside and I was worried about the top ripping on the garage, but it didn't! Not even the feet part were frayed by the end of the night. I paired it with orange keds, kraken socks, a t-shirt that said "Are you Squidding Me?" and blue shorts so I could stay cool and with my squid theme before I put the costume on and when I decided to take the costume off towards the end of the party. The picture is of me first trying it on, and it was hilarious lurking in the hallway.

Impressive and HUGE!
This costume got a ton of attention and laughs at my kid’s school trunk or treat, my friend’s Halloween party (it was cryptid themed - I combined this with a little ship to be the Kraken), and trick or treating with my son.- Be aware that it is HUGE!!!! I wasn’t quite ready for how wide it extends away from my body and how tall it is. I definitely couldn’t go inside with it on, and I had to take it off at the Halloween party after an hour or so in order to actually interact with people, go inside, get good, etc.- This would work a little better for a much taller person (I’m 5’4”) as the legs are super long and I had to kind of unch it up on my arms to walk, which was pretty awkward. Fortunately my son didn’t want to walk too far anyway for trick or treating.- Also note that you need someone else to zip you in - you have to zip up the back from the outside, and it is not possible to do yourself.- There are actually 2 fans to inflate this and 2 battery packs that EACH take 4 AA batteries, for a total of 8, not 4 as the description says.Super cool costume - would buy again!
