Not quite as good as my former 3rd party battery.
After few weeks of use (about 10 charge cycles, 5 cycles for the first 5 days and a cycle for each next week), it holds charge pretty well, the only problem I see so far is present at the very end of charging process: it never ends charging state until I reconnect the MagSafe charger for the last 10-40mAh-s. Charging for me becomes a partially manual process with this battery, that's why I remove 2 stars. Also the battery arrived fully drained (no idea if that's a right way to store them), and was manufactured around 1 year ago.Update: The seller contacted me with instructions to make sure the problem is not with macbook's SMC or NVRAM data, and sent to me a new replacement battery. Will check it and update my review by the end of the month. Added back 2 stars for the great after sales warranty service!

Dead/defective battery received
Battery was dead and would not charge after installation. Ordered a genuine Apple battery from another supplier which charged up perfectly.

Best available currently
This seems to be the best available battery in this Marketplace for an old 13" 2012 MacBook Pro. It does not seem to have the full capacity of an original battery but it is certainly better than the 13 plus year old original battery I had. Lithium polymer batteries are better performing than lithium ion.

Bring an old laptop back to life for more years of use.
Very easy to install. Comes with the tools and printed instructions along with online video. My computer was back up and running in only a few minutes. Kit comes with a keyboard dust cover and new feet for the bottom of the computer. Nice extras.
