What is what is for my Wh
It is light, but it is worth it.It functions well. It is metal surprise surprise, but the handle is plastic.

Met my expectations
It was pretty fun to use but I made the mistake of trying to actually sword fight with it in pieces flew everywhere that’s when I realize it was only for display and when I tried to put the pieces back in even if I fit them back in every time I opened it it would just fall out so if you’re looking for something to actually sword fight with by the more expensive version but if you just want something for magical display or do you just show off I highly recommend this

AMAZING!
The media could not be loaded. ☆I was so happy when I received my sword. The cap was SUPER hard to get off but with some elbow grease I did it without breaking it! LolIt fit so well with my D.O.A Kasumi cosplay.☆It isn't a sword you hit things with!

Pretty cool, but quality is what you paid for.
The sword itself is pretty cool, with a basic cheap handle, but my nephew liked it quite a bit. The case was so cheap I almost didn't include it in the gift package. It was sheet plastic, and it had ripped out at the seam all along one side.

Carnival Quality Item That Broke The First Time It Was Used
This item came packed in a pak with no packing materials or protection. Just sitting in the pak in the sheath. The handle feels like cheap plastic and the sword broke the first time it was extended - the first two segments flew right out of it. It can't be fixed either, as there are now bends from where the segments impacted with each other. And this isn't some tremendous level of force that was used to extend it either. It was on par with the level that you would use for a toy lightsaber - my wife and I know because we tested a couple of them after this broke on first use. With that I can firmly say that if you need a sword like this buy a wooden version instead. There is nothing that this sub-carnival reward level garbage can offer you except the shocked look on your wife's face as she breaks it when trying to extend it for the first time ever.To put another way: if the kids on South Park bought this as part of the episode "Fun with Weapons" instead of wounding Butters it would have broken on contact with him. No trip to the vet, no fake fur, not even a mark on his skin. Nothing.Don't spend money for a 'sword' that couldn't even hurt Butters. Let's fighting love.

Nice looking training sword. But not quality. (EDITED)
Exactly what I was expecting. Looks nice. Light weight. Easy to deploy the blade and mostly easy collapsing it as long as you don't deploy it with too much snap. (I kinda got the blade stuck open. But a light tap on the floor loosened it. Oops). I'm looking forward to adding it to my collection and training regimen.EDITED:: The blade claims to be 440 Stainless Steel. I highly question this. The weight is WAY too light. Second, IT BROKE!! Yes, it broke. I was taking it out to show someone and as the blade deployed the 2" section at the top of the handle split right down the edge side. So instead of the blade stopping and looking like a sword, the blade fell to the floor. I currently have he cracked part super glued with a small piece of duct tape holding it the two sides pinched together to hopefully fix it.

Awesome practice sword. Remember it’s a practice retractable sword
I don’t get the negative comments. It’s a practice sword. My sword is for practice. Don’t hit anything with it. It’s for practicing Tai Chi. Tai Chi isn’t a fighting form of marital arts. If you want to hit things with it... it will break obviously. It’s a retraction sword. Be gentle with folding it back into the hilt.
