Trademark Home Hidden Wall Safe

First I have to agree with others that mention this gadget is flimsy. It is. But It doesn't have to be heavy duty. It's about diversion, not strength. There is one thing that I don't like about it, it comes with a brass screw in the face plate. The first thing I did was to disassemble it and paint the screw white, like any normal outlet. It went in, in about 20 minutes. All in all, its looks and works great.

Very cheaply made. Template was nowhere near the correct size, so I opened up the outlet hole with a dremel till it would fit. Tried to pivot it into my wall to realize my wall must be slightly too thick for this to work. My wall is 3/4” thick and I believe this will only work omg 1/2” thick or less. It also broke with me messing around putting it in and taking it out. Cool idea, poor execution.

A lot of people seem put off by the cheap production, but if you're looking for a secure wall safe into which to hide the family jewels, take this to a metal worker and have him replicate it in sheet metal. For what it is, and what you pay for it, it isn't bad. I replaced the white plastic faceplate with a decorative plate I bought at Lowes, and it fit my kitchen decor perfectly.

Item showed up at my front door Sunday ahead of scheduled delivery. I installed it with the pocket saw included in the package in less than 5 minutes. Works perfect. When using the key to lock in the plug face you have to push the plugs in a bit to get the arms behind the drywall. Don't cut much bigger than the template or the plate will not cover the hole. You can shave a little to make it fit if needed after you cut the hole out.

What do you expect from a safe this cheap? First, it is packed well, but the directions are vague and unhelpful. Second the "keys" they included had to be sanded down by me to fit the screw hole. Third, the template is too small, so you have to ream out the hole to get it to fit. Fourth, you have to use a stud finder (not included) and remove all the insulation from the hole and below it (inside) or it won't sit flush (very messy). Lastly, after all of those additional steps, it finally fit well and looked surprisingly real. Yeah, it's flimsy plastic, but you're not supposed to be pulling stuff out of it on the regular, so it will work for now. Just don't forget where you put it. Probably won't happen due to all the extra work you'll put in installing the little thing.

Creative! My son got this for xmas! He is all into spy gear things and he loves it! For me, it is great to hide important things. Easy to use!

Really bad product, I followed the instructions to the dot, and when putting it in the thing just broke on one of the sides, I wish I could get a replacement but no answer from seller.

Impessed with actually how natural looking it honestly is. Am concerned as to how long this product is going to last though before it breaks, and I find myself left with needing to repair a hole in the wall. If made of a stonger material i would definitely be willing to pay more.
