This is now my daily user soy sauce
I have fine aged soy sauce that I use for special recipes. That are better, sure.I'm rating this one a 5 star as a great daily general use soy sauce with GREAT flavor IMHO. This is the one I use most often instead of grocery store soy sauce now. I save the other more spendy one for more focused recipes. I love the complexity and flavor. Not soo salty. Great for general daily use.If I need a large quantity say for shoyu chicken or wings. I grab this bottle for example. For general dipping sauces for weekly use, I grab this bottle.Into my 3rd purchase now - I buy 64 oz at a time. Not going back.

Not all soy sauces taste the same, and this one is good!
This is the best quality and tasing soy sauce, for the price point. I have tried multiple chinese, korean, and Japanese soy sauce brands, and this one feels smooth and slightly salty, not overburdeningly salty (like kikkoman) or watery/diluted (like many chinese soy sauces). Do yourselves a favor, get this one, you wont go back to your old brand.

Organic authentic Japanese Soy Sauce
This Yamaha soy sauce is made in Japan in Chiba and the flavor is not adjusted at all. I’m from Japan and this is what we used.

One of the best tasting soy sauce
I am Japanese. Many soy sauce made in USA are too salty for me. This is made in Japan, great taste and aroma. The price is a bit high, but can’t beat the taste

Delicious, but...
Ohsawa organic shoyu (at more than 2x the price) IMO perks up my Japanese ancestry taste buds more, reminding me of the good old days (I'm 74) real age brewed shoyu.I'll use Yamasa organic for cooking, marinades, & guests who can't tell the difference, and Ohsawa for drizzling on my sakana, tamago, tofu, etc.Really appreciative that Amazon makes this available impossible to find in stores here.

Holy crap - there's a lot of difference in soy sauce
As a child of the 60s, and a kid who grew up in the American Midwest (read: food hell), I never thought that much about soy sauce. After the SE Asian influx of the early 1980s, I learned a bit about fish sauce, but pretty much regarded soy sauce as this standard product like, for instance, salt. Au contraire!! (btw: they did teach foreign language on the prairie, and, as it turns out, WE WERE FREE TO LEAVE!!!! Tell someone, for cryin' out loud. I digress....) This is great stuff, much better than Kikkoman, or your grocery store brand. I can't describe the difference ... it's just there. Try it. What's the worst thing that happens? Pour it out. Recycle the plastic. Live on, better informed. #Namaste (which by the way, rhymes with "have a good day." #peace_out.)
