Q: i am having trouble with the roof. I cannot get the sides to fit the long piece and stay together while i am putting it on the back piece. what to do

I too struggled with keeping the cap and roof pieces together when attaching to the back. I ended up duct taping both sides along the entire cap and finally got it in there. Robin

Q: Will this dog house stay up without the floor? Considering using it for a pool filter cover.

I would say yes. the roof is screwed to the walls so it should be able to stand on it's own without the floor.

Q: How much does it weight? And would it be easy to disassemble for a move?

Very easy to assemble and disassemble and weight above 2lbs.

Q: Will this work for a full grown dalmatian?

I don't think so, it is short but tall. I have a colony of cats, it fits 2 comfortably, but if they stretch out, their feet are hanging outside. It is very weatherproof though, high winds do not blow it away!
