When my husband first started having pelvic floor issues 5 years ago now, we bought this. Yes, it is a lot of money for a little plastic tub. But get it now, don't wait, don't waste time. He uses it several times each day and finds it very helpful. It is so handy to use.

I’ve never used a site bath, but I read lots of reviews before deciding on this one. After a week of daily use, I must say I quite pleased. The white is nice, as it doesn’t draw extra attention. You can still see the shape of it through the thin nylon bag, but it’s unobtrusive nonetheless. It fits perfectly on my round toilet, and another review stated that it fit well on an elongated one, so I should be set wherever I am. The seat feels sturdy, even though I weigh 230. The material is smooth and very easy to clean. The transition from the seat to the bowl portion is gradual, so there is no pressure point on you legs or bottom as there is with some others. With the well-placed drain holes, I have had no drips on the floor, and (unlike using the standard bath), there is very little drying of myself needed either. This has made self-care and healing much easier and more efficient for me, and I only wish I had purchased sooner.

This is by far a superior basin in terms of comfort. The one I was sent home with from the hospital was awful. After surgery the last thing you want is to feel like you are sitting in the toilet having to lean forward and stay still for 15 minutes 3 times a day. This basin is great. You can sit properly, are raised up enough, and can move legs as needed. Special hints, keep bum tight as you sit so it does not spread too much (if you have stitches), and don’t fill too high. Keep a peri bottle of hot water to add as the water in basin cools (and be careful it’s not too hot). I wash with white vinegar and water since the idea that bleach may linger and get in my privates is just too awful a thought.

Gave this a 4 because I believe it will work well, should be easy to clean and use and is comfortable the way it is made. However, on receipt, I read reviews to try to figure out how to get the pieces separated (hitting it on a concrete floor worked for me. I also was trying to figure out how to contact the company for a missing rubber fitting (could not find the info anywhere). Only have 3 of 4 on receipt and I see this is a reoccurring issue from reading reviews. It is a shame a company with a needed product does not have better quality control or include instructions for their product. I do love how the product fits close against the toilet so it is lower profile and can easily slide out for use. Hope it works for the problems I purchased it for.

Really convenient and easy to use, does not overflow, safe to use, takes a little bit of water, I do recommend not plunging in sometime that water can be hotter than you think.
