Creative Options Crafters Train Case, Silver 12 x 10 x 8.5

I tried to buy this case from Walmart on three different occasions and it was always sold out. I was thrilled to find it on amazon. It holds much more than I expected and it is very solidly built. We have over a dozen small acrylic paint bottles in the bottom, and brushes and things filling the top. A good, solid case with multiple uses.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for for my art supplies! I looked at many Caboodles-type boxes but the expandable trays' swing was perpendicular to the lid's swing and the storage trays were the width of the box and square. I was looking for something where the hinged trays were the length of the box (not an easy find) and the box wasn't over-decorated and gaudy.This box is perfect. The frame is aluminum but the panels are plastic. All of my on-the-road art essentials fit perfectly, leaving plenty of room for more items. My preferred materials are colored pencil and water color. I can easily fit two watercolor field kits, set of colored pencils, water basins, all my water brushes and paint brushes, blending tools, erasers, two travel reservoirs (cleaning and wetting), travel-size spray bottle to mist the watercolor pans, two mixing pans, cleaning cloths and mini container of Gamasol and so much more.While the box isn't of great quality, it certainly is worth the price, especially compared to specialty storage cases and others that were close but not quite what I wanted. I'm very, very happy with my purchase and am looking to get another for some other supplies.

This is a wonderful sturdy case that can be used in many ways. I feel like it would be great for travel but not plane travel because of its large size. I suppose you could use this as a carry on bag. However being that it’s metal you would have to open it at every check point since the x Ray scanners could not scan through it. I learned this years ago with another metal case I brought on a trip. Love this case and would buy it as a gift

This case is strong and durable! It’s going to last! It has great organization and holds so many products and beauty tools. It opens, unfolds, refolds, closes, and latches with ease most of the time- however, the drawers on the side do have the screws get stuck occasionally and then you have to work with them to unfold them and get them into place. The bottom is deep to hold bigger things. The latch is strong and even when it’s just being held by the handle and is full and heavy, I have confidence in that it will hold and everything inside will be safe; there’s never been a fear of it opening unless I’m unlatching it. The dividers inside are inserted with strength and nothing will shift around them, keeping everything organized as placed. We’ve traveled extensively with the case, even dropping it a few times, and nothing has ever gotten broken or moved, and the case has held up well- it doesn’t scratch, but it does dent. It also is not lightweight and gets heavy when filled.

I ordered this case to replace an older case that I'd had for several years that had been damaged. I use it to keep my makeup, jewelry, and hair accessories etc on my boat. It's small enough to fit in a small space but has enough room to hold everything I need to keep myself looking good for a weekend, or even an extended boat trip. At the same time it looks good enough that I don't need to hide it away but sturdy enough that I don't have to worry about my Labrador retriever puppy from chewing it up.

I bought this to use as a makeup carrying case and it works perfectly! It fit most of my makeup in it, it’s sturdy enough so that my makeup doesn’t break, and it’s lasted over a year and hasn’t broken yet! 10/10 would recommend!

I actually like this case a lot, I put all of my art supplies in it (paint, brushes, sketchbook, pens, pencils) and it holds it all! But the drawback is that it doesn’t seem very sturdy, I keep thinking the handle will come off (it hasn’t shown any signs of damage) but it’s cheap and I just expect it to break. I have a lot of supplies in there so it’s heavy! I always carry it with one hand holding the handle and the other on the bottom of the case! So basically, if you need a cheap case just to keep in your closet—get this. If you actually need something durable and sturdy, pay more to get a high quality case!!!

I only returned the item because it was smaller then it appears to be. If have a lot of make up and just need to take some of ur important stuff w/ u and a few other things this would be perfect. I was getting it for my nail products. But it look exactly as described and its very lightweight. Its just on the small side. And I gave it a three because I can't fully say how durable it is or if it would last but going off the feel of it... it would easily dent and damage. But its good for the price.
