LEGOCreator Expert Ferrari F40 10248 Construction Set

When Lego uses their creativity in technical car builds, the results are usually fantastic. This set is the best I've had the pleasure of building. It is a phenomenal set piece that resides on my desk at work. I've gotten multiple compliments on it and everyone wants to touch and/or play with it. Do not let them. This build is for you. Once you build it, you will make vroom sounds. You will display it in multiple configurations depending on your mood for the day. Maybe you want to show off the engine one day and the interior the next.For less than $100, this is perhaps the best complex Lego set you can buy. Enzo Ferrari would be proud of this Lego replica.

I saw this on display at a Lego store while on a business trip. I convinced myself that I didn't need it but ended up ordering it a few weeks later off line. At age 31 I haven't really played with Lego's since I was a kid. I justified buying and building this though because I love the F40 and came to the realization that this is probably the only F40 I will ever be able to afford:D Everything went together smoothly. I'd recommend opening all the bags initially and just dumping them into a pile. I thought they would be in some kind of logical order where the first several pages of instructions used one bag. This would save hunting for pieces. However that is not the case. I had 3 bags with a #1 printed on them. Being an engineer was was fun to put together and appreciate how difficult it must have been to design this car. It took about 4 hours.

Hey you guys !!! I loved getting this amazing set of the lego(Ferrari-F40) it was a challenge for sure. I had a great time, putting the sweet F40 together. Inspite, bc I love sports cars on top of it !!! Lol. It was worth the $$$. I make sure, my sweet lego Ferrari-F40) is safe. I really keep a good eye on it. Bc im proud of how I was able to accomplish the challenge to make the cool Ferrari-F40 !!!

This was an amazing build! No parts were missing. In fact, I had parts left over. The final product is very solid. I was surprised to see mini figure revolvers among the parts and further surprised to see how they were put to use. The final build is approximately one foot (12 inches) in length. I can easily recommend this kit.

The set is incomplete. Missing bags of parts. Too expensive for an incomplete set. Disappointing.

First off the seller is fantastic, a great business transaction. These are not cheap. I’m absolutely satisfied with the business. This company is top notch. I only have 1 issue when purchasing something expensive and that is having you item packed very well. I know this package was well packaged but UPS failed on this delivery. That said item is plastic but expensive and as a fan, the boxes are just as important. Luckily this item is a gift for a child and the box is his choice. I ABSOLUTELY SHOULD HAVE ALSO ASVISED THE SHIPPING TO BE WELL PROTECTED MYSELF BUT I DIDNT. That said everything was perfect as far as buying and the item being mint. UPS needs to have a way better policy for the people. Not just get a package and deliver it. Have more pride in delivering items. All parts and book is fine the box has damage. From UPS.

This was a Christmas gift for my 10 year-old grandson, as it was high on his wish list. Although he has been a Lego enthusiast for several years now, I thought a kit rated for age 14+ might be a bit hard, if not frustrating, for him. Well, the day after Christmas he got down on floor with it, studied the instructions carefully, and 8 hours later he finished, with no help!
