I've been through 4-5 other iron supplements, some of which were supposed to be easier on the stomach as I was having GI side effects. A few days in, this is the first one I seem to be able to tolerate without issue. It's definitely more expensive and tastes bad but extremely worth it.

Normally I love Ferretts iron in the strawberry flavor, but some how I ended up with black cherry. It’s the most disgusting rancid taste. I’ve ever put in my mouth. I immediately threw the bottle away, cause I thought I was gonna throw up in the sink. Do not buy the black cherry. It is gross.

After I showed to my hematologist and gastroligist they started referring it to other patients in lieu of iron pills and repeated iron infusions, they like the fact it breaks down in the GI tract and not the stomach like pills.I like the concentration, with NO constipation!!! and the strawberry flavor. I MUST take it 40 ml, 4-6 times a week. The part I like the most is able to wake up, take it on an empty stomach. After I take my dogs out, go lay back down and then when it's time to get up an hour later, go on with my day, drink coffee, tea what ever, no muss no fuss, it even has a measuring cap. I LOVE THIS STUFF. I will probably be on it the rest of my life. BUT I and others like me DO NOT have sit in a chair with a needle in my arm for 3 hours getting 100 mil of iron a month, every month PS To document this my doctors at Emory University (ATL Ga) did multiple CBC tests with ferritin to document the results and like I said they now refer it to other patients, they were impressed.since I have been taking it my ferritin level has stayed constant and so has my hemoglobin so I have NOT had to have an iron infusion. Thank you for a wonderful product.

In just a couple of days, I noticed more energy and my fingernails have already started repairing themselves. Cons: it contains parabens, which are carcinogenic! The childproof cap sucks too because you have to pull it off, and I have difficulty putting it back on because it seems to always be crooked. Right now I can't properly replace the lid or pull it off so I'm throwing away. Gonna try Nova Ferrum brand next and hope it works as well as this one did.

I quick and surprising difference in iron level after a short time. Mild side effects but well worth a little initial discomfort. Taste is not so great but if low iron is an issue, this worked fast.

Taste isn't bad.. not something I'd want to sip but works for that it's for! I chase with an immediate chewable vitamin C pill. Saw iron numbers stay up longer with this than any other product I've tried post infusion. I struggle with iron a lot! Always have.. even before my bypass 4 years ago. I like this product though..

The iron is easy to take and I am feeling better since I'm borderline anemic but the taste, Wow, it's nasty. I have to do some sort of chaser afterwards so I don't throw it up.
