Such a sensible guide
This book is à fabulously gentle book taking a common sense approach to raising girls of all ages, maybe to thirty is necessary these days. It makes one feel pleased to be have the privilege of raising girls and takes some of the fears away. A very gentle approach well worth reading.

Great simple Book thanks!
I enojyed this book Thankyou,I first purchased and finished last lol. I liked the simple Mom language, to the point and all understood! I just kinda felt like the author was mocking God in (tho I know your not) " If your daughter is a Lesbian" by saying even pastors are openly gay and the rest just think its wicked or it needs a cure. Their are some of us who dont agree with the conduct but respect the person and do not think it needs a cure or its wicked. In the scriptures it mentions its a choice (1Cor 6:9-11 "were") and even though the media glorifies the belief that your born with it or or stuck with it, that has not always been the case, it is ultimately their decision to go through with it . Some of us do believe in the power of prayer and a powerful amazing God, the same God from two thousand years ago! And we can LOVE ALL people at the same time including our daughters! Thanks steve!

A substantial guide to raising girls.
It is tempting to beat a drum once the topic of child rearing arises: growing human beings may strike us as important. On the other hand, training children to cope, to succeed, to climb the highest mountain, can be captivating. To me it seems that Biddulph's priority in a very sound book would be the former. Me too.The difference (between him and me) is that Biddulph really knows what he is talking about. His girls will thrive and will do well as school and in life, without being the world's leading mathematicians at age 3.They will have the chance of living better lives than their ancestors. He's not a Tiger Pop. His girls are not extensions of his ego. Thank goodness.

Anything Steve suggests is worth listening too.
Having previously read "Raising Boys" (I have one of each), I couldn't wait to read "Raising Girls!" It is full of ideas and suggestions, showing understanding of girls of all ages. A great read to help mums and dads understand their daughters better and how to form a caring, loving and open relationship.

I did like reading this book and found some things helpful
Overall, I did like reading this book and found some things helpful. It was not as in depth as I would have liked. For example, how to raise girls of different temperaments at different ages. I have 3 young girls and found the younger years info to not be that helpful.
