The Best
This is the best stuff to use

The very dumbest product I have ever tried to use.
Because this stuff comes in a spray can, I assumed it would spray similar to spray paint. It does not work like spray paint. It exits the nozzle in a steady stream of liquid at low velocity. The orifice in the nozzle is obviously much larger than what would ever be used with spray paint.I had put some plastic sheeting on my driveway before I started this. Most all of the liquid preservative simply ran off the camera mount that I had made of plywood. It ran directly off, and onto the thin plastic sheeting that I thought was going to protect the concrete driveway. The driveway has a slight slope, and the bright green liquid was running down the plastic sheet in a stream. I had no choice except to set down the plywood camera mount and grab the ends of the plastic sheeting and lift up the end so that the green liquid would not run off onto the concrete driveway. I managed to catch most of it, but some small holes had worn through the thin plastic and the green liquid had leaked through in a few places, onto the concrete drive.I needed to find a foam brush with a long handle, in order to brush the green liquid into the narrow spaces in the mount, which narrow spaces are what allows the plywood mount to support a box-shaped piece of acrylic. I rolled up the plastic sheeting at the end, then secured this with the big rocks I was using to hold the corners of the plastic sheeting. I ran into the house to look for a suitable brush. I couldn't find one. I did find a brush of the other kind, and I tried to use it, but it did not work very well at all. What I ended up with was a big mess.THIS STUFF SHOULD NOT BE SOLD IN A SPRAY CAN!!!Given that there are reasons, apparently, why it needs to come out in a steady stream at low pressure and not like what you ordinarily expect with a spray can, what true purpose is there for this stuff to be packaged in a spray can? None. This stuff should only be sold in bottles or cans with replaceable lids. The instructions should say plainly that the only good way to apply this stuff is with a foam brush. The reason that they package it this way, in a spray can that gives you the false impression that you can simply spray it on like spray paint, is that people are more likely to buy it when they think that they can simply spray it on like spray paint.I do not think that the manufacturer should be permitted to package this stuff in a spray can.

More of a Stream than a Spray.
Wound up spraying the product into a container and then brushing it on. The smell is pretty strong but not unpleasant and dissipates in 48 - 72 hours.

Strong odor and direct stream but works
Coats and absorbs well but it has a strong odor and the hard stream makes it hard to control and avoid splash.

Charmed
Works as designed. Used on my project that I substituted without using pressure treated lumber

The spray can was listed as "Only one left." It was out of propellant. A few dribbles and then it stopped. I am left with nothing to treat my wooden beam with. All the prep work done to get to this point. I have emailed customer service for a refund since it said not able to ship back. Am stressed out as today it was warm for outdoor chores.-A.M.

Convenient
Code required a preservative on the posts of a new deck. This did the trick. It was inexpensive and easy to use.

Used on a timber retaining wall on all the areas that needed touch up from cuts and gouges. I would not recommend this product on a deck because it smelled for weeks after I applied it. It gave me the sense of security that it's doing its job as all the bugs that were around stay clear of it. Great for use on walls not sure about decks that people sit on
