Very needed indoors
We were looking for an indoor clothesline. This was so easy to install - took about 20 minutes. I like the locking feature and how long it stretches to. Perfect for those winter months when you can't dry clothing outside.

Not ideal
This clothes line was a pain in the butt. The strings got all twisted and you could tell right out of the box it was cheaply made. I really wanted to love it, but that’s just not the case.

Works well
We put this in the garage of our toy hauler. It works well with one exception. It doesn't lock very well and sometimes I get laundry hanging down to the floor. Other than that, it's great.

Install easy. Lines do now hold the same tension
It is very difficult to get all the strings at the same tension. Installation was easy, quality is adequate, but some of our lines hang a few inches lower than others with the same weight.

Not like my old one
I was trying to buy the same line I bought/installed in my house 16 years ago that I left for new owners. I didn't know I wouldn't be able to replace it (it worked too well). This one looked the same so I bought it. It has 5 lines instead of 4 (old one) but I thought that would be ok. Installation similar (has 4 hooks instead of the old one with only one) so it should be sturdier. But I can't get it to lock. It says "push in to lock". I push in, has very little space to do so, but nothing locks or stays in. I took it down & looked at the insides, there is a small plastic piece that juts out into the knob that I assume is to 'catch' onto something to hold it it place, but I can't see anywhere it could catch onto. As a result, anything that hangs on the lines pulls the line down. I can't get the lines to lock taught to be usable. If anyone has an answer...post it here? This old lady just wasted 45 min. installing a useless product. By the way, they need to make a template for where the screws go. ( I made one out of the instruction sheet so the 6 screws would be in the right/level places.) A waste of time & money I can't get back. Disappointing as I used my old one 3-5 days every week. I had it in the bathtub a couple inches above the shower head assembly. It was SO useful...now in my new house I don't have this simple ability. I made a clothesline for outdoors, but that's only good in the Summer & too much work to get to just to hang the simple cleaning cloths & blouses I hand wash every couple of days.

Buena opción
Excelente para espacios pequeños, cuando ya no la estás usando simplemente lo retraes y listo

Don't waste your money.
After taking several measurements I chose this retractable line for my basement. After installing it on the wall I found that it wasn't 14 feet. I needed 13' 6" but this came in at less that 13'. It also seems pretty cheaply made and I don't think it would have held up to more than a couple of wet towels. I returned this and ordered one with steel cables.
