Je&Co Shaving Set,Pure badger Hair Shaving Brush with Steel Stand and Steel Bowl

For decades I used gel shave cream from a can. Due to a hand injury, I elected to try applying my shaving cream with a brush so I purchased this set from Amazon. The badger brush applies the shave cream smoothly without irritating my skin. The stainless steel bowl is the perfect complement to the set and is easy to clean. I’m very happy with this shave set and believe it to be a good value for the price.

It’s a great shaving set. It’s soft and during more than 3years

Whiles I do think the stand for the razor and brush is good, and I do think the brush that comes with it is good too. I feel as though where this set fails is its bowl. The bowl is of good size but as I used it, it did not hold the shaving cream in while I was making the shaving cream frothy. The bowl has award angles with no texture. Its shape is a V and not a U, so as you stir the shaving soap if just falls outside of the bowl. The one thing good I can say about the bowl is it does look good.

I screwed the arm into the base and it's solid. Placed it in the bathroom where it now holds my Gillette Type C safety razor. The burhs has synthetic bristles, so they don't "soak up" the hot water like boar bristles do, and don't have the spring and bend either, but it is perfectly functional. Works fine as a starter brush or as a replacement brush, unless you expressly want non-synthetic bristles. It's low cost and works great.

I really love this brush. The bristles are firm enough to create a great lather but still soft on your face. I use the brush with Palmolive shaving cream from a tube (available on Amazon), so I don't use the bowl that came with the brush. I squeeze about an inch of the shaving cream from the tube into the center of the brush, dip it into the sink filled with hot water to heat up the shaving cream, squeeze out the excess water and then lather up with nice warm, full-bodied lather. I also like the overall cylindrical shape of the handle (slightly narrower in the middle) which creates a very comfortable grip. Most brushes out there have handles that are markedly narrower at the bottom which to me makes the grip uncomfortable. I love the handsome stainless steel hanging stand. Finally this brush is great value for the money. Other brushes out there that in my view are inferior can run 3 and 4 times more expensive. A truly great product! (Joanna's husband)

This shaving brush works great, getting a very clean, close shave doing it the 'old fashioned' way with brush and cup. Also brush is synthetic bristles, so no badger was killed so I could shave!! Fine product. And love the drying rack lets the brush hang upside down to dry.

The badger hair brush is surprisingly nice for the price. It holds a lot of water and the handle is comfortable. The stand is nice and sturdy and has a classic design.I thought I would like the shape of the bowl, but it seems to want to push the foam out. I was constantly having to push it back to the bottom. As well, the bowl is not solid, the interior is hollow. This may have been okay hand the walls of the bowl been thicker, but it feels cheap and does not hold heat at all.For the price, I’ll probably still keep it for the brush and stand, but I’ll definitely be looking for another bowl.

Had to wash the brush several times to remove the odor.
