Bestop 8002015 Black Denim Sport Bar Covers for 1980-2016 CJ5, CJ7, and Wrangler

Very happy with this purchase. My original roll bar covers on my 1997 TJ were faded and beginning to rip. The material on these covers reminds me of the material used on the soft tops. They were reasonably easy to install -- the only difficulty was getting the foam to stay in place while I zipped everything up. If I remember correctly, installation took an hour or so (including taking off the old roll bar covers). They look pretty good. I think they would look less good if I didn't have a sound bar. The covers that would go where the sound bar is are separate from the other covers, and I don't think it would look as good if I had to install those.

Great look, easy to install. Squeaks a little bit with a hard top on tho.

Put them on my 97 TJ and it was a bit more work than I anticipated. The old covers had to be cut off with a razor because the zippers were all frozen so that took a little more time than I thought it might. The good news is these cover fit nearly perfect although the help of a friend makes the job a ton easier. It took about 1.5 hours total and they look amazing and appear to be very well constructed. I wasted my time on cheaper alternatives and quickly sent them back and ordered these and although they were more than twice the price the quality is well worth it. Don't waste your money on the cheap covers.

This cover is a very nice change from the worn out covers that were on my '98 TJ.The picture is a bit misleading, but the product is better than shown--the covers are provided for the rear bars, as well as the center bar and the header bars that connect to the windshield (i.e., all of the bars are covered, not just the rear).Two pretty minor complaints keep this from a 5-star review. First, the fabric doesn't seem nearly as beefy as the canvas OEM cover. Second, for the install, if you have a soft top, you have to slice through the fabric of this cover so the brackets extend through the cover (this is not me being a dummy, it's in the instructions). For the price, it seems like the slots should come nicely pre-cut and finished.

These are outstanding in fit, finish, color, installation, etc. I went from very faded OEM tan covers to this on my 97 Sahara (black exterior, spice interior). Combined with black synth leather IGGEE seat covers & a new Quadratec Premium top, I've got a brand-new looking TJ (at least, accordingly to my wife)!

poor product at an expensive price! You think you pay a lot you get a great pruduct..don't buy

I installed them per mfg the instructions. On one of the sides when I tugged to get installed tore. The material seems a bit thin, will see how long it lasts.

These were horrible. Horrible horrible horrible. They came incorrectly, like to pieces of the same direction were sewn together so one side fit, and one side was backwards. The padding fits inside crappy and you have to cut it for the seat belt hole to go through. I went to return it and was 3 days outside the return time and thus was screwed. NOTHING redeeming to this at all.
