I'm the kind of guy who prefers utility over glitz, so I wasn't very hopeful when I ordered this set because it's very glitzy. I don't do glitzy. I was prepared to hate it, but it does such a good job of trimming our nails that I've grown to ignore the glitz entirely and enjoy the craftsmanship of the tools. My wife has toenail issues from an accident years ago, and they grow in very oddly. I've been experimenting with some of the other tools besides the clippers to deal with the odd shapes and densities while trimming her toes, and I've been able to give her the best trims she's ever had - at least, that what she says. I still only use two of the non-clipper tools, but they really do help. Anyway, I recommend it highly.

Billed as for a travel set, this manicure set looks great and the quality appears excellent. If I'd bought it to use at home I likely would have kept it. But the metal case is overly heavy and I suspect would also trigger concerns of TSA. I did not want the additional heft in a travel bag.

This set has EVERYTHING! I have this set, have had it for nearly 10 years, and still looks beautiful like the very first day I opened the box. And, yes, everything works great and sharp. I just got one for my grandson. He will love it.
