Great monitor; super resolution and size
This was well priced for a 2K/27 inch monitor and provides a lovely, configurable picture. Has speakers, which I wanted, which is adequate. Doesn't have USB or usb hub which I would have liked. there's a sticky out bit underneath which looks like it would contain an IR receiver but doesn't seem to serve a purpose so just looks a bit ugly. Stand is sleek and sturdy. Overall recommended.n.b. I'm on a mission to write genuine reviews (too many fake ones). I genuinely purchased this item with my own money without incentive or connection to the seller/manufacturer. If you find my review useful, please click 'helpful' so I know, thanks.

Perfect Second Monitor for iMac
Purchased this to go along with my 2015 iMac. Few things to understand, buy a displayport to thunderbolt2 cable. Only truly supported option for full resolution on this generation of Mac. The size of the iMac desktop is always set to 1440p. They say 5k but it is impossible to view such a small resolution. This is why this monitor is a perfect second monitor for a mac desktop. A 4k screen is not necessary. Other than higher dpi or better backlight options 1440 or 2k is the best option for a 27inch monitor. Emulated Hdr is ok but not necessary as the monitor doesnt have the peak nits to achieve true Hdr. People complain about the stand or lack of ergonomics i bought the amazon basics monitor arm. Perfect adjustment for an affordable price. I think it brought the total to around $350 for everything. Plan on getting another one for a full 3 monitor setup. Being used for daytrading setup, so perfect resolution. If you're doing any fancy video editing i would purchase the next level up of Benq monitor. This however is perfect for Clerical and regular display use. I use the iMac speakers because you don't need both. They aren't great but if you had nothing else these are fine, maybe buy a small desktop speaker if the Benq is by itself and you want an upgrade. Not for gaming or editing but perfect for work from home or school option. I included a few pics from first setup to compare the quality vs the Imac screen.

excellent monitor for the price
I have one office monitor which is HP elite display that costs around 500$, these benq monitors perform as the same professional monitors for half the price.Settings are easy to read, screen quality is very good and it got matte finish so reflections are very less.Automatic brightness adjustment is very much needed for me as i work a lot infront of screens, it works pretty good.Blue light filtering is also very good. Overall excellent monitors, easy to mount, speakers are enough for office work. overall definetely recommend to friend.

A Good Fit for My Applications
Great monitor with a compact size. I used a Color Spyder to adjust the color for photography applications and the calibration went smoothly. I am using it as I write this. Small consideration would be the ability to lower the screen on the stand a few inches. Good stuff, good price.

Very clear picture, easy on the eyes
Well, I had been using a television as a second screen for work. That picture was not very clear. However for this monitor, the picture is crystal clear. I am really happy with it. When the machine it is attached to goes into sleep mode so to does this monitor which is good. Sound seems reasonably OK, but I haven't really tested it with music. Set-up was slightly more difficult that I expected, but I think pretty much anyone can manage it with a wee bit of effort. I can't find anything to complain about, yet.

Everything I didn't know I wanted or needed
This monitor is *chefs kiss*. I Bought the EW2480. I am amazed and absolutely in love. The size, the clarity, the picture quality - everything is just the icing on the cake. Speakers are great! As for the HDR I can't decide between it being a gimmick or HDR..it improves picture quality yes but it just seems like a preset of picture settings? Casual non competitive gaming is great on this so don't fret or be scared away. This monitor is a very quality build for $180 (that's with tax) and to think I almost went with an Asus monitor that's 10 years old...for the same price..and not even a quality build. I also almost went with the GW2480 to save money but soooo glad I didn't. This monitor is a dream.

The brand name of the monitor is often overrated
The brand name of the monitor is often overrated. This monitor stopped working after just four years of light use (it was used as a secondary monitor). The picture was okay, nothing special. I was never a fan of the power brick or the connections that stick out on the back.

Great picture quality for the cost!
The picture quality is stunning for an IPS LCD, as well as the 3 HDMI ports, thin bezels, as well as the different implementations of HDR. Looks great for gaming as well for business.Cant go back to a regular 8 bit color LCD.Blacks are deep, whites are paper white and uniform. Although the monitor will need calibration (via your graphics driver or windows). Once complete though the color is very vivid and isn't over saturated.
