FANTASTIC KNIFE
I BOUGHT Y FIRST ONE YEARS AGO ON QVC. I HAVE BOIGHTEN THEN ON AMAZON AFTER I FOUND THEY HAVE THEM FOR MY NEPHEW AND GRANDCHILDREN, IT IS A GREAT KNIFE LOVE TO CHOP AND SLICING

Authentic Alaskan Ulu Knife Made in China!
Very shocked to find out this authentic ulu knife was indeed made in China not Alaska. While I love the styling as it matches the decor of my kitchen and has a matching stand, I cannot personally use the knife. My occupational therapist recommended an ulu knife because of a hand injury. This particular knife is too small for my hand. I believe in part because I must wear a corrective brace on my hand. However, I think I still will not be able to get a firm grip on the knife because of its small size. The handle is a mere 4" whereas the handle on my paring knife is 4-1/2". The ulu knife is meant to take the place of several knives, including a large cutting knife such as a butcher knife. All in all, not a good purchase for me. But judge for yourself.
