Worst synth company ever
I fell for the hype. A cheap clone of a classic vintage synth for super cheap! I've owned several vintage synths and decided to try out Behringer starting with the Model D and Pro One and honestly I was surprised by the sound quality at first and excitedly bought several more of their products. Although it sounds good at first I quickly realized it wouldn't stay in tune long enough to record a 6 minute song. Like I said, I have 40 year old synths and NONE of them ever drifted this bad. I'm not talking about a little osc drift that sounds good and vintage. I mean like, unusable, randomly goes completely out of tune. The switches are so cheap that they come out of the new box finicky and scratchy. All 5 of my Beh synths were horrible. Zero customer support and no resale value to try to get my money back because they flood the market. Then I started hearing the stories about the company. Suing the original designers, stealing current designs from new companies and lying about it, trade marking journalist's names as a way to attack them because they didn't like a bad review, and countless reports from ex-employees about how terrible the company is. Don't waste your money. Korg, DSI and other companies have better low cost synths and run their businesses a lot better.

Accurate recreation of a classic
Functionally identical to the original Pro 1 and sounds great too, plus it has MIDI. Behringer recreated this instrument including all facets and flaws of the original (including the cheap switches!) so if you turn it on and don’t get any sound, don’t assume it’s broken, assume the knobs and switches are set where no sound is produced. This machine sounds excellent and costs as much as I sold my original Sequential Circuits for back in 1999 or so.
