This really does cook. It took about 30 minutes to heat up and then I roasted potatoes in 11/2 hours, which is about 20 minutes longer than in a household oven.It is very easy to set up and easy to clean.Enjoy!

*BUYER BEWARE*If you are buying this product for the plug in feature, don’t even think about WASTING YOUR MONEY! After 2 uses it stopped working, after receiving a new tube and cord, it became obvious that the glue used on the plug-in prongs was not tested for high temperatures and sure enough it FAILED & is INOPERATABLE AGAIN!A few reasons why you can find a better solar oven (if ur thinking you will at least save your $200 on not choosing their “not so Fusion” plug in option)-Feet are terribly unstable and your water/food will pour out into the inner tube, or even worse, out of the tube, causing burns-Hard plastic at the opening of the tube has melted and has become deformed in a matter of months, assuming from the steam that exits when opening.Had high hopes for this attractive solar oven, but its form for function is severely lacking. Mayb one of GoSun’s cheaper options are made better? Guess I’ll be eating the $500 I spent

The media could not be loaded. This product can be a life changer when you don't have electricity you can still cook it may take longer conventional than conventional methods but you can still get your cooking done. This model has the option for a 12V input and that works well also. I used it for camping recently and was not disappointed. To me it need full sunlight or it will take a very long time to heat up.

On my first use I boiled water and made pasta in less than 2 hours, I found some perfectly sized aluminum trays and can fit 3 inside the tube. My second use on a cloudy day, I loaded the over at 10:47am with ginger sesame rice, a baked russet potato and some liver and onions. At 1:45 the tube was steaming and was delicious. I have baby back ribs and a cornish hen to make next.

The protective plastics had already been removed and there are scratches on the reflectors and inside the food tube. The Gosun logo is half peeling, some missing spots in the color of the glass. Have not used yet but concerned about how loose the seal is and how much heat will escape beyond the normal pressure vent. Doesn’t fit properly, very loose. I’m still deciding if I should just return it immediately or see how it works. Oh and the sun locator thing had popped off and was rolling around in the unit. Tried to press it back on but not sure how it’s going to stay or handle the heat if it doesn’t stick now. Disappointed. I took an unboxing videos but it’s like 12 minutes long.
