Good Nutrition for Rats
This is my go-to for rats. It's complete nutrition(though I still give lots of other foods) and over time most rats love it. A few picky eaters turn their noses up, but I just take that as a sign they aren't terribly hungry.It can create a fair amount of food dust, which must be cleaned regularly to protect rattie lungs and noses. A few rats eat the dust, but most chose to leave it.As a little hint, save the crumbs and dust at the bottom of the bags. When rats get old, have pituitary tumors, or tooth problems you can mix this with water or other liquid to make a nutrient rich mush. I had a deathly sick rat who I used mush mixed with watered down peanut butter(always water peanut butter down or use it very thinly) and it was a big part of saving him. He's a pretty happy guy 3 months later, and just had a nice big lab block dinner.

My squirrel likes them
She seems to be thriving. I wish she could write a review, because she goes on and off with these blocks--usually accepts them, but sometimes looks at me like, "what, another one of these?" Or maybe she's thinking, "wait, it's nuts that I like best. Hand 'em over." In any case, I know she needs more balanced nutrition and fewer nuts, so this is what I try to give her most.
