A Great Addition For Ongoing Rehab
Yellow is the level I find myself at and this bar fills that need. It has a somewhat different feel than the red Thera Band brand bar I got on sale. But despite the slightly sticky or greasy feel it leaves no residue on my hands after use. It just feels a little different initially. Yet where the red bar is too much at this point, this yellow bar is the perfect amount of resistance for the reps my physical therapist assigned for each set in my routine. And that means that I can do them with good form without harm. And that means I can follow the program without the setbacks that too much resistance could cause. This is an excellent product at a price we could afford. I couldn't be happier with what I received.

Great rehab tool for wrists, forearm
Recommended by my PT. The little book that comes with is quite helpful as well. Easy to use, effective. The only thing I would add is that he had one with a smaller diameter that worked a bit better for me and I have pretty large hands/long finger, I think. Perhaps it was made for an average size male, shocker there. This worked fine, but that one worked better.

Seems to have helped me
I started working out about a year ago. I guess I went too heavy on the weights and started noticing pain in my right elbow (my dominant arm). It hurt when I gripped anything and it hurt when I lifted a heavy thermos or pitcher. The pain was on the outside of my arm. All the classic symptoms of tennis elbow. This went on for weeks. It just wouldn't heal.I got desperate and stopped working out and started using this flexbar following instructions I found on youtube. I did this for a month. At first I was doing the exercises for 5 minutes a day, every day as I'd seen this recommended yet I found this to be excessive and actually further inflamed my sore elbow. I started using it every other day and slowly started to feel better. After a month I went back to the gym and started using less weight with more reps and a very, very slow technique. After 3 months I'm about healed. I may have gotten better without the flexbar as time alone can heal tennis elbow but I believe that my I began seeing a noticeable improvement after using this device. I recommend it. It's relatively cheap and doesnt take much time to use.

Great rehab for tennis elbow
I pulled my forearm tendon swinging Clubbells a while ago. It was bad enough that I could not grab or grip without some shooting pain going up my forearm. All the recommendations were to do nothing and let it heel which is more or less what I did for a couple weeks and nothing really changed. I got this bar (green 15LB) and started doing twists and bends being cautious not to push to pain but on a little passed the edge of discomfort. After two more weeks of twisting a few times a day at my desk I noticed significantly less pain and improved my rotations. It took a solid two weeks before I saw improvements but then everything seemed to be better. It did work and my forearm is now stronger than before. I ordered the 25 pound bar to up the challenge and keep going. If you do a lot of work on your forearms (kettlebells, clubbells, climbing, racquet sports) this is probably a good idea, I do believe it sped up my recovery from a tendon injury which can take a significant amount of time to heal. I will keep this up to hopefully prevent that from ever happening again. For now its back to the courts.. Game on!

Size difference from theraband
I purchased this as I was going up in intensity from my red Therband Flexbar. While this does the job, it is about 2/8” larger in diameter making it harder to hold for my s/m size woman’s hands.

No outgassing is accurate
I am extremely sensitive to various plastic and rubber outgassing smells. It's not that I'm allergic, but if I can smell anything like this, my annoyance of the product skyrockets because I know it didn't have to be that way and is simply an indication of poor design choices.I can say that this product has no significant smell even with my nose inches away from it. It is not sticky either as some reviewers claimed was a problem with a competing product. It seems durable but I'm just starting to use it (in my case for golfer's elbow).I debated on this resistance (green which is more like aqua) or getting red. I'm not in the greatest shape, but used to climb 5.10. Green is likely a little stiff for me, but when doing the twisting exercises it doesn't matter as much - I just don't twist it too far, but the bar is pretty hard for me to bend in the suggested way (there are loads of youtube videos - I didn't even bother looking at the pamphlet that came with this product). I may buy the red one too.

Comes with a booklet of examples!
I love the booklet of examples, super helpful! I needed one of these for physical therapy after breaking my wrist. It is really hard to find one that is latex-free!
