Tenax Water Soluble Matte Pomade, Medium Hold with Matte Finish 4.2 oz

I'm more of a Dapper Dan man, but I wanted to try something different for one. I'm glad that I did! This product smells great and has excellent hold. The texture is smooth and easily washes off. I will definitely buy again.

I like the metal (vs plastic) container. This is a lighter product that their stronger products (obviously). Very high quality. Would recommend for anyone with straight or even slightly curly hair.

Smells great and has a soft hold. It didnt' last as long as I'd like but I was using it outdoors in humid weather.

And the Italians probably aren’t even sending us the good stuff.I like the hair styling products that have become available since you kids all started wearing your hair like extras from West Side Story. My choices have been I can can either smell like the gun range ,asphalt, or pine tar, or worse yet, a guy that went to the range, but before coming home stopped off to help a buddy pine tar his hut, and then helped another buddy lay some asphalt.This stuff smells like lemon, vanilla and bittersweet Angelica root. Get some. Chicks that say that other stuff “smells good” are lying to you.

I purchased the matte pomade because they were out of the strong shine (yellow can) pomade. The matte pomade doesn't hold very well and it's really hard to manage when compared the the strong shine. The only reason I purchased the matte pomade was they were out of the yellow can. They seem to have inventory issues or something.

not too stiff, but gives good hold. I also am happy I'm using a Tenax product after 30 years of forgetting all about them. Wish they still had the cool get tubes from the old days, but this stuff is better - more balanced.

This stuff is advertised as medium hold, however, it has no hold. It might be good for some hair styles, but no mine.

Just a little goes a long way!
