Finding this and seeing one person's review about the nostalgic memories definitely got me super interested. Everything works properly and built sturdy. So glad it doesn't get hot on the metal. Not bulky like many other heaters I've checked out. Love the safety features especially w having pets. Great price compared to units that heat smaller rooms. Soft glowing element quite relaxing. Keeps our livingroom nice and toasty. Would highly recommend!

I got this heater for my desk at work..it started out great, get's very hot, warms up the space well..Then one random day it cut off and never cut bac on. I'm so disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. I wouldn't recommend. There is also no safety cut-off feature if it happens to tilt over, so be carful if you have children or pets.

Not as good as the ones made in the 80's and 90's. Screws that hold it together are mostly stripped out. and plastic part are where metal parts should be. but it heats up instantly. And the case remains mostly cool, given how this works. You get what you pay for. Price matches quality.

Second heater i've tried works good for a day or two and then the thermostat goes wonkey. Leave unplugged for 10 mins and plug it back in and it will run for 20 seconds before shutting off. Not made to be used at all and even though I loved the heat it put out you will aboslutely be wasting your time and money with this heater!

Great units right out of the box. They put out a lot of heat, however there is no way they will heat 1000 sq ft. The first one I sent back because the thermal switch inside stopped switching after one week. It would only run for about one minute. Second one worked well for about three months, then the fan stopped turning. Third heater is still going strong. I won't buy anymore. I don't think one good heater out of three is acceptable. Return policy is great. I won't try to return the second one. I have been using it without the fan for four months. So, in the end I spent $120 for one good heater. We will see.
