The connecting cable is very short - about 1 inch
I think this is the first product I bought using negative feedback to help me decide. Several 1-star reviews mentioned the cable to connect hub to computer is very short (about 1 inch). If you are looking for a hub with a longer connecting cable, do not get this hub! But if you are looking for a hub to simply add ports to a laptop (especially for traveling), I can recommend this one. I did not get this for a laptop but rather my car. I recently had the head unit replaced. Before the new head unit was installed, I used cigarette lighter port for a 2-port USB charger. That port was replaced with a single USB port. Sometimes I want to charge 2 phones or a phone and something else at the same time. I got this USB hub to be able to do that. The hub is small and fits in the small space available very well. It charges multiple devices very well. Just what I needed. Admittedly I've only had this hub for a week so far, and some reviews said it stopped working after a short time, but I'm hopeful that will not be the case for me (I will update the review if it does fail anytime soon).

Worked great. Cord could be a little longer.
Works as stated and cord stores into unit. But a touch longer cord would be a little more versatile and move connections a bit farther away from unit.

This model is great. I have two of them. But I wish the same company made another model with more than 4 connections.

Excellent USB port expansion for a laptop with limitted ports.
Not much more to say on this, laptop only had 2 out of the 3 ports working and this helped add some extra devices I needed to use on it.

It worked just fine and got me out of a bind, although the lead was very short I can't blame them, it was in the description and picture.

Better luck next time
This usb port didn't work. I plugged it in and tried multiple usb cords still nothing! Also the USB connector is short and stiff.
