As much as I do not want to help my competition, I think EVERY person in the fitness industry should read this. I say that because I think the entire industry would benefit and grow from this information being a baseline to start from. I have purchased thousands of these since the book came out - and I know I am not the only operator who has done so.Casey, you need to update this and do another edition as there is a lot that has changed since 1994.

This book is an essential for any owner or manager wanting to establish a good training program for his/her membership sales staff. I've know Casey for a while and this book is thorough, entertaining, funny, and effective. I've used it to train 4 different staffs at 4 different price-points in the industry, and every time it's been just as effective. I've even used it's finer points in advice I've given to owners and lectures I've given. For those of you who want those 5 essential books to make your operation run well, this is one of them. You can run a club without it...just not very well.
