I know it's being pedantic, but the description on amazon says "from 1 year" and the box is clearly labelled "from 1 1/2 years".

Beautiful but little sound
These maracas are beautiful and well made. Present for my 1 year old granddaughterto start a musical intrument collectionhowever they don't make much noise when rattling which lets them down.
