These brownies are delicious, and very easy. I added walnuts and Lily's chocolate chips.

Pretty Decent Sub For Gluten
I was pleasantly surprised with this gluten free flour blend. I have used a handful of different gluten free flour blends and some work better than others. I used this flour to bake banana bread and made two loaves (one using this flour and one using Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Flour Blend). The loaves came out so similar it was hard to tell the difference without knowing which loaf was which. The loaf with the renewal mill blend might have been slightly more grainy, but it was so slight I wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't trying to find differences between the two loaves. I'm looking forward to trying it in more baked goods. One thing to note is that it does contain Okra Flour, which comes from soy. So, if you're avoiding soy this flour blend will not work for you.

Completely Inedible, Acrid Smell and Taste
I've been gluten free baking for a couple years now, and I've gotten quite good at it. Normally, I get Bobs Red Mill or King Arthur flours, but was given an opportunity to try this one in exchange for a review.I used my tried and true chocolate chip recipe, an ultra simple one I give to people who are just starting. But as soon as I opened the bag of flour, I knew this was not going to be good. The smell was acrid. I hoped it it would "bake out" and continued the recipe, but it didn't even behave like flour. My tried and true recipe was playdoh, and never spread in the oven. The acrid smell was worse, and filled the kitchen. I dared a bite but spit it out because I was afraid of getting sick. The taste was strongly of chemicalI don't understand. All the other reviews have been good. Did I get a bad batch? Was this expired? It had no expiration date on it. But whatever I got did not behave, taste, or smell like flour. Or anything edible. Everything got thrown out.

did not work
There are two things for which I use flour: baking and cooking (yes, there is a difference). For all that I do with cooking, this flour worked well. However. For baking, this flour was disappointing. My first recipe was yeastless pizza, and this dough broke apart so many times. For cookies and muffins, this flour did not work for me either. For flouring surfaces and thickening sauces, this flour did work great! Overall, for ambitious recipes, this flour has not worked for me. Also, this flour was already expired when I received.

High fiber, gluten free baking flour
The flour is all vegan, and gluten free. It is easy to use, substituting regular flour with the one to one ratio. It has high fiber content, close to 30%, which is good for our digest system.I used it to make cookies, turning out to be a big success. Cookies are crunchy and chewy. We all like it a lot.

Not a fan
I've used this flour for two different recipes, and both were seriously disappointing. First, I made the vegan chocolate chip cookies from the recipe on the package. They were dry, crumbly and tasteless, and they're destined for the compost bin. Next I made brownies using a recipe from the King Arthur Flour cookbook, thinking that a non-vegan recipe might come out better, especially with butter, chocolate and eggs. It was somewhat better, but the brownies too were crumbly, and there's a stale taste to the flour that I find unacceptable.Your results may vary, but I won't be using this flour again., I've made vegan cookies and gluten-free cookies that were way better than this. I'm just sorry I wasted the other ingredients.
