Dark Wood Tarot

I’ve bought many tarot decks over the past few months but this one is by far the best and my favourite. The guidebook is detailed and has clear meanings, the cards are easy to read and represent everything so well. I have learned how to read these the quickest and now I barely ever have to use the guidebook. The only problem I’ve had with these cards is the card stock, they are thin which means they don’t last as long unfortunately. I’ve had mine since April now using them every day and I can feel that they’ve become tougher and harder to shuffle. If you could get these cards in a different card stock other decks wouldn’t come close. I highly recommend these especially for beginners and if you’re looking to do shadow work. The artwork is beautiful

So I was not expecting this to be presented so beautifully; comes in an oversized flip-cover case, complete with a detailed guidebook and honestly it is really great for the price. I was introduced to Abigail Larson's artwork some years ago so when I saw this I knew I had to buy it and the design of this deck does not disappoint. I am really looking forward to using it!

This is a lovely deck to read with. It has lovely images and a great guidebooks. A friend, who is also a practising reader liked them so much that she also bought a set. Definitely recommend them.

Love this deck . Wasn’t to sure if could use these for normal reads so contacted Sasha directly x she replied straight away . You can lose urself in them and great for spell work too xx only small criticism would have liked some of the images closer like in the book so they are clearer with my bad eyesight . By the way the guide book is amazing , all colour photos and great story a definite must read xxx

I've had these for 18 months and they're my go to deck, excellent for beginners and seasoned readers.The guidebook is so good, the descriptions for each card is amazing 😍, I rarely use it now because I'm very familiar with the cards. The spine of the guidebook split after two days, which suggests to me it's cheaply put together.With the other reviews I agree that the cardstock is awful and flimsy, they give way too easily, maybe use better cardstock.The cards themselves are awesome, each of them is a work of art.The box it comes in is really good, sturdy, doesn't fall apart and is perfect for the cards and book.I would have given it five stars but because of the awful cardstock they've used and the guidebook fell apart easily I've given it four stars .

I bought this deck as I saw a few images online. The deck is beautifully presented in its box and along with the book this is not your standard tarot book and box and it all adds to the feel of an enchanted dark deck.This deck is beautiful and it is indeed dark imagery but alluring and will take you in a journey into shadow and the darkness.Like all good imagery and fairy tales there is a lot of symbolism here and the artwork reminds me of Charles Vess work.I love this deck it dark and beautiful and very magical.I would recommend this deck but this is no light fairy deck but one that will take you on a darker path.

Let be honest I bought this more for the art than the use but! It's my most used one for readings... they are incredibly beautiful and easy to read! The artist is amazing and I really enjoy getting them out to use - honest get them!! They are really worth it 👌

The illustrations ae absolutely beautiful! It arrived fast as well, about a week after I placed the order. I just got the package today. Can't wait to do readings with the cards.

I have purchased this deck for three friends over the years. I love it so much, the guidebook is fantastic. I find it well suited for seasoned tarot readers and newbies alike.

Estou muito satisfeita com a compra deste tarô. Estou tão satisfeita que nem tenho mais vontade de comprar outros tipos de tarô com outras artes. Acredito que encontrei, finalmente, o meu tipo de tarô, aquele que se comunica melhor com o meu inconsciente e com a minha intuição. Os tarólogos falam muito sobre isto: o fato de que cada pessoa se identifica com um tipo de tarô. Os arquétipos são os mesmos, mas sabemos que os símbolos sempre ganham energias novas de acordo com a personalidade de cada traço artístico do tarô. Este tarô agrada pessoas com dons psíquicos, intuição profunda, empatia, admiração pela beleza (estética e espiritual) e que são apaixonadas pela arte gótica. É um tarô "dark", mas também possui muita luz e sabedoria espiritual. O tarô é equilibrado e agradou o meu Ascendente em Libra (hehehe): ele é sensual sem ser apelativo (sexy sem ser vulgar hehehe), dark na medida certa, gótico suave sem cair nos abismos perigosos das sombras profundas, levemente sombrio sem ser melancólico e repleto de "chaves" secretas para o seu inconsciente (o entendimento do inconsciente também desperta a consciência e ajuda a pessoa no seu processo de iluminação espiritual). O tarô está dentro de uma caixa linda. E também há um livro com uma estória que envolve uma jornada dentro de uma floresta obscura e misteriosa. A escrita gótica, instintiva, intuitiva e perspicaz da autora Sasha Graham combinou perfeitamente com a arte sensual, gótica e feminina da ilustradora Abigail Larson. O livro está em inglês, mas eu consegui entender tudo. Meu inglês não é muito avançado, mas o entendimento do livro é bem intuitivo. As gravuras são belíssimas e a qualidade das folhas do livro é impecável. Eu fiquei encantada com o tarô e com o livro! Já usei as cartas de tarô e devo dizer que as tiragens foram bem assertivas e profundas. O livro me ajudou no processo de autoconhecimento. Tive muitos insights sobre as minhas sombras e as sombras das pessoas. Um excelente livro para pessoas boas que gostam de estudar as sombras para transformar tudo em luz com a força da superação. Quem gosta de alquimia, transmutação espiritual e misticismo vai amar. Além do mais, o livro tem uma energia bem feminina e exala Sagrado Feminino nas entrelinhas. Eu amei ver ilustrações de belas e delicadas mulheres representando arquétipos clássicos do tarô. As figuras femininas parecem princesas góticas e as figuras masculinas têm a beleza e o charme de príncipes encantados. Equilíbrio entre delicadeza e profundidade na escrita e na arte. Recomendo!

J'ai enfin décidé d'acheter ce tarot après avoir pleuré devant l'annonce pour une raison inexpliquée. Il m'appelait.Il est saisissant tant par ses graphismes que par l'énergie qu'il dégage.Un style sombre, folklorique, tout simplement splendide. Je suis restée bouche bée par la beauté des cartes lors de l'ouverture de ce tarot.Le livret est tout aussi magnifique, complet, bien expliqué et nous invite à travailler sur notre part d'ombre avec tant de bienveillance que s'en est merveilleux.Pour continuer directement avec le tarot en lui-même : quelle belle découverte !Je ne peux déjà plus m'en passer. Il délivre les informations avec tant de justesse et tant de vérité ! Bien qu'il soit assez sombre (j'adore), l'énergie qui se dégage des cartes est tellement bienveillante ! Juste et franc, mais doux et calme à la fois. Parfait si, comme moi vous avez besoin d'un déclic pour prendre conscience des choses.J'ai pour habitude de choisir les cartes de mes tarots à la main, mais celles-ci glissent tellement bien qu'elles s'échappent directement quand je bats les cartes, un vrai plaisir. Je ressens une profonde connexion avec lui.En conclusion, un jeu magnifique qui ne demande qu'à être utilisé. Inépuisable.

Quando comprei o Horror Tarot fiquei bastante surpreendida com o quanto gostei da arte da Abigail Larson. Mas quando chegou o Dark Wood Tarot, a qualidade e detalhe do livro elevou a experência de um Tarot desta artista a outro nivel. O livro permite a visualização do detalhe da arte em promenor e todo ele é bem escrito e traz uma profundidade as leituras com estas cartas.O uso das cartas em si são em qualidade e sensação identico ao uso dos outros Tarots desta editora. É uma editora que normalmente produz bons e lindos baralhos, com bons e lindos livros, e na maioria das vezes a arte nos faz desejar ter cartas maiores, devido a ser tão entricada e bonita. Não é o meu material favorito, mas certamente, muitas vezes são os baralhos que ofereço, porque simplesmente o conjunto do livro, caixa e baralho são uma experiência dificeis de superar por outra editora.Portanto dos 2 baralhos desta artista, este é certamente aquele que recomendo.
