Great steamer. good long lead, easy to use can. buy cheaper elsewhere overpriced

This is a well-made steamer, much more than just a cheap bit of plastic. I have used tit to take the wrinkles from clothes and to help clean a couple of armchairs. It is quite effective at both, but I wouldn't say that it get wrinkles out of clothes very fast. It wouldn't be suitable to use instead of an iron - more for emergency, last minute removal of creases. It heats up very quickly and produces a good head of steam. Unlike my last steamer, it produces steam steadily and does not waste time reheating before it will release more steam. It is, of course, hand-held, and the penalty of its solid construction is that it is quite heavy. To me, this limits it as a travel steamer, I haven't tried it for cleaning as such, but I am pleased with the idea that when I cleaned my armchairs with it, I also killed the germs that can make fabric chairs stale and smelly.March 2021. I have now tried it for cleaning the oven and tiles. I think I'd need a lot of patience to use steam alone for them as the jet of steam is not powerful enough to clean them quickly. I have had my oven professionally steam cleaned, which worked wonderfully, but the steamer did have to left to work for an hour. This shows the limitations of using steam, which, quite honestly, even after several attempts and using chemicals as well, made very little difference to my cleaning efforts.

I really like my hand steamer. it can be a little on the heavy side but I am happy because i never used the iron since I got it. Probably not for a whole load of clothes at once as your arms tire quickly but if youre doing just a few pieces its perfect. Ive used it on everything from coats to table cloths and im quite happy with it. Only issue is that i ordered to Ireland so I have to use an adaptor for the plugs here.

Not as great as I thought it would be, could not steam and get marks out if furniture

Bought for someone who finds ironing clothing difficult and what a difference this has made making ironing easier and works 100% so bought again for a elderly persons would highly recommended this

Works very well and my clothes are totally wrinkled free. There is an accessory to get rid of pet hair too. However it is quite heavy and big to put in a suitcase.

Really liked the steamer has done a great job on my husbands jacket .Found it easy to use felt a little heavy when full with water but soon got use to it .Have also used it on a floaty dress with delicate attachment work well removed all creases . Would definitely recommend.

Seriously lacks power and that certain oomph. Rather than pumping out a continual blast of steam whilst holding the button down, it seemed to give a strange clicking and pulsating feeling; generating a weak, barely noticeable cloud of steam. I persevered hoping it was just warming up but after 15 minutes I gave up. I even used it on a lightweight chiffon-type dress which would typically be the easiest at getting creases out. Don’t waste your money. Just because the brand is a household name doesn’t mean it packs a punch.
