Mont Marte Signature Acrylic Paint Set, 36 colors x 36 ml, Semi-Matte Finish, Suitable for Canvas, Wood, MDF, Leather, Air-dried Clay, Plaster, Cardboard, Paper and Crafts

I love these paints. They are very pigmented, and to me are comparable to Liquitex Basics. They’re thick but can be thinned down. They mix well. They can be used on different surfaces. The price isn’t bad for the quality paints you get. I’ve used them to touch up my son’s toys if the paint is chipped, or painted an entirely new surface on an existing toy. I’ve used these on metal (with a sealer, like resin or something), wood, paper, mdf board, plastic etc… I have nothing negative to say about these paints. They also wash off your hands very well and do not stain at all.The first set I bought was at Tuesday Morning years ago and I can truly say that the quality is the same as it was years ago, so they haven’t cheapened their paints or used less pigment. I really don’t think anyone would be disappointed in getting this brand’s paints. I like the cool and warm tones of each color and really could go on and on about them. (The room sign is not done, I can’t figure out how to properly paint snowy mountains, and it’s driving me mad - but it’ll show a few examples of the paints)

It is thick and creamy, tries pretty quickly and the colours are beautiful.

This is my second set of this paint, they have really good thickness and vibrant color. I used them for lots of my different paintings on different items (canvases, backpack skin, mugs, wood). And they dry pretty quickly (I’m always very impatient). I also just love having the different color options even though we could just make any color from the primary colors - this is so easy and saved me so much time

not bad according to the price. It dries slightly quicker than high end brands but it is managable.

They're okay. Certainly not high quality, but they worked for what I needed them for. They're too thin, don't have a lot of body or substance. Color selection is good.

These paints are highly pigmented with a little going a far way. They're smooth and fluffy, easy to use and mix. I use them for acrylic pours as a beginner and compared to the paints I use previously, these are best because the quality and size of the paints allows you the opportunity to judge your skills and to improve where necessary. It would be nice if you could provide or recommend containers in smaller sizes to store the paint in when mixed. Because I use a small amount at a time, I have difficulties storing the left over mixed paint. The containers I have are too large for the leftovers and the leftovers is too much to throw away. Also, the packaging is ok but it would be more functional to package in a firmer small box like cardboard or acrylic box for easier storage in a drawer or on a shelf. This allows the box to be repurposed.

I’m just a beginner, untrained. This is a nice, affordable kit for anyone doing smaller-scaled projects. I, however, started right away on a HUGE canvas, got halfway into it, only to realize what a neophyte I am! Obviously I was very foolish and wasteful, as a canvas this size requires so much more paint than there is here. That said, I did really like the way the paint moved, retaining its vibrancy throughout. I like how the tubes aren’t tiny, so you get a fair quality of paint to work with; however, I suggest you buy an additional large tube of white for blending because this one smaller tube probably won’t be nearly enough. Great set!

Excellent quality acrylic paints at a reasonable price. Good value for the money. I would definitely recommend Mont Marte for any artist, professional or beginner.
