Qalam pens
I was really looking forward to getting these in the post. Tried them out, they seem fine, variation of nib size in this set is useful. Initially glides across the paper then the nib seems to catch due to the tip. So that's why it's a 3 star. A good little starter set.

Damaged items
Several pens arrived with cracked nibs, also the back of the pens particularly the large ones this is affecting writing quality and risking breakage.

I don't know why people gave bad reviews but i found them relly good as I gifted to my husband and he does professional calligraphy, really pleased with the gift

Didn't do the job
Tried so many times to use it with the ink, acrylic pain and other stuff never managed to finish a letter!!
