S.S.S. Tonic Liquid, 10 Ounce

Great for iron deficiency and goes right through to where your body needs it. You can literally feel the vitamin Bs and iron penetrating your insides and immediately (within 5 minutes or so) able to shrug off the weakness and sluggishness. This is an old remedy that my grandparent told me about years ago and I have continued to be sold on it. Delivery this time was slower than usual, but I put that on the Holiday Season rush, and placing the order at the wrong time. Great, Cheap, alternative to some of the OTC iron and B-12 supplements!

I purchased this after a co-worker recommended it. I am borderline anemic and refuse to take anymore pills because they make me dizzy. I almost passed out at work after taking the pills. I am on my 2nd bottle and it seems to be working. I take 3 teaspoons a day. I’m no longer as tired . I’ll check back in after my 2nd bottle endsEdit: 3 tablespoons not teaspoons*I’m finishing my 2nd bottle. My cycle just finished and for the first time in my life I wasn’t weak and in pain. Typically I’m struggling during my time of the month but this month it was different in a good way. I’m satisfied.

I’m so happy this was recommended me for me to buy. I’m anemic and have had a blood transfusion in the past- my doctor was concerned my levels still were not up and wanted me to have another transfusion. My mom recommended this to me and let me tell you my levels have gone up! I have been using the product for over 4 months but based on my recent bloodwork my doctor indicated my levels have gone up tremendously and to continue with my regimen. The taste is not that bad and this supplement doesn’t cause constipation like other iron pills I have taken in the past. This is a great product to use if you are anemic.

I've been using this iron supplement since I was advised I was anemic and it has helped by blood work move into the normal ranges for iron. To put that in perspective at one point I was advised if my iron levels didn't improve I may have to have a transfusion. The SSS tonic doesn't cause constipation like iron pills I tried and the flavor is fairly decent so I have no trouble actually taking it. The B vitamins in the formula are an extra bonus. If you need iron supplementation I recommend this product over iron pills any day of the week

Update: I am adding stars back to my original review based on how well this helped bring low iron levels back up in a short amount of time. Especially when used in conjunction with Moringa powder. Sometimes you can not go by feeling, you need tests. This came through !After finishing my bottle of Geritol I decided to give S.S.S. Tonic Liquid a go. 3 weeks later and already half way through the bottle I'm feeling this was a mistake.Even though SSS has a higher dose of iron than Geritol, it has not given any noticeable boost in energy. Usually after only 1 or 2 days of taking Geritol or Floradix I can really feel a change to the point I can stop taking either one. I have a feeling this is due to Geritol containing yeast while SSS dose not. SSS also requires that you take more spoonfuls so it has not worked out as being more economical.Something I have noticed is despite shaking it well, once half way through my SSS the flavor (which is somewhere between grapefruits and acid reflux) intensified and it was then that it started to seem to have an actually effect on my blood. I will say to its credit, SSS has not caused any stomach upset, repeating, heartburn or any other unpleasant side effects. With its long history of use and numerous recommendations I'm glad to have found it on here and tried it but will be going back to liquid Geritol.These are just my personal experiences. Please consult a physician about what it right for you.

When I first started going to my hematologist and got the results of my CBC back....7.4 hemoglobin!!...low normal starts at 11!. Anyhoo...I started on weekly iron infusions...for 2 months...during my 2nd month I began to take the SSS tonic and increased my intake of vitamin C (which binds iron)...when I last saw my Dr...he was ike.."wow what are you doing in addition to the infusions?"..I told him, and he said to "keep it up"...I know that I am a lifelong purchaser of this product, because eventually the infusions will be cut to once a month and I will still need something stronger that an ole iron tablet to keep my levels normal....love this stuff...oh yeh, it tastes very nasty,but it does its job!

I had surgery recently and I really wished I had known about this tonic before. My iron was below a 12 so I had to have sellsavers. I Was always cold and feeling tired, until a friend recommended this product: not only that I’m feeling so much energy; I’m no longer cold all the time. My iron went up a lot. Only thing I noticed is that my appetite has increased.

I have been anemic on and off since I was a young teen. Few years ago a doctor recommended this formula, said one of her patients cured her anemia quickly and got her energy back. I kind of forgot about it but recently had some blood work come back that my iron levels are pretty bad. I remembered this formula and started using it. Within a week started to feel some energy come back. I've only been on it few weeks but I can definitely feel improvement. Taste is bad but it helps so who cares.
