Great and compact choice for newbie DJs
I’m often on the move, so getting a bulky powerful controller was not an option. I needed something small, reliable, sturdy and versatile. Long story short, this product does the trick!Sure, the basic design of DDJ-200 lacks some important buttons like browsing/loading controls and switching between different pad modes. But some of these features can be mapped for the pads. For instance, instead of using 8 pads for hot cues, you can use only the top 4, and facilitate the bottom ones for FX, loops or whatever you need for the gig.The thing also works great with Traktor software through custom mappings that can be found online.Build quality is great. Everything just “clicks” and works exactly as you would expect out of the box.Have not tried it via Bluetooth: only tried with usb + pc and Rekordbox/Traktor.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a first controller to kinda decide whether you actually like turning the knobs and pulling the faders. It gives you a close enough DJ experience (unlike super-tiny controllers like DJ2go2 and other “portables”) yet you can easily carry it in a mid-sized backpack. Great for bedroom gigs, friends’ parties and just having some creative fun at home. Satisfies with the purchase and would recommend!

The DDJ 200 opinion
Overall DDJ 200 is best for beginners..... It doesn't have music selector nor headphone jack on hardware but it is okay as a beginner
