Ordered this as a quick gift and am so pleased. Lovely "antique" kaleidoscope very nicely crafted. Packaging beyond belief keeping it safe while shipping. Appreciate the background history of the invention of the kaleidoscope adds to the gift. It is solid and the colors are crisp and bright. Small extra pack of objects. The storage box is crafted well as is the kaleidoscope itself. Price? Very reasonable for the product supplied. Complete gift in a small box. Display on a desk, coffeetable, book case, etc. Pull it out when stressed and enjoy the view. Shipping was very fast. Yes, I opened it and unwrapped to check it out.

Really cool, nice box. Got as a gift for my niece and she really liked it for the first week. Kinda pricey but it was fun to use.

Gave as a gift and was loved by all. The wooden box it comes in adds to it even more. Wish I had the budget to get one for everyone and myself. Will probably be kept and enjoyed for many years to come.

My 10 year old daughter asked for a REAL kaleidoscope for her birthday, so I spent time looking on Amazon for the right one- something that would make her feel special & something that would last, but also one that would be what they say it is and wasn’t a ridiculous price. This was that kaleidoscope!!! I was so giddy with joy to open it and see the presentation was as hoped- the wooden box feels special opening the metal sliding lock- and then inside, with the velvet looking interior and the weight and feel of the leather wrapped kaleidoscope itself!!! We were so pleased that it came with a baggie of extra little pieces to add if one wanted more than what was already there to view when looking through. The mix of types is perfect for a different look with every turn of the end piece!I couldn’t really say enough about this- my husband and I were “pleased as punch” and my daughter still LOVES it these couple months later. It’s all I hoped it would be and we’re just delighted!

Big things come in small packages! This kaleidoscope is high-quality and very refined. When peering through the glass, you see Jewel like images that are stunning. You twisted or shake it to get different designs. Kids from 5 to 75 will play with this for hours.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how interested and intrigued my 10 year old is with this. Enjoyable purchase. Looks like a pirates scope and comes in a cool case.
