Carhartt Boys' Active Jac Quilt Lined Jacket Coat

We are an active duty military family that recently moved from Florida to North Texas. We were extremely unprepared for cold winters, and when temperatures dropped into the 20’s, the stores quickly sold out of winter clothes. Our son is huge for a three year old so I ordered the XX small (4/5) carhartt so that he would have a jacket durable and warm enough for the next several years. It is very large on him, but not so big that the sleeves can’t be pulled up for his hands to fit. He absolutely LOVES it! My husband has owned his own Carhartt jacket for over five years, so we trust the jacket will stand up to our sons roughhousing! I would highly recommend this product because of the durability and quality.

My son is 2 and will be turning 3 in a month in a half. I purchased a 3T at first thinking I can just use a little bigger and get away with having to buy another jacket next year. The arms were a little long and wish I could have kept it but bunching it up on his arm really did not go well with him and how he likes to play. Also the hoodie part was way to big. I had to return and size down. The 2T fits him better the arms and hoodie fit perfect and still leaves a little room fro him to grow. This is warm and a nice jacket. My son still perfers his older jacket from last year over this, but sure when he gets used to using it he will enjoy it as well.

I bought this for my 12 year old brother's birthday coming up; decided to send it to him a bit earlier since it's starting to get a bit chilly in NY. Arrived so fast with free shipping! My brother is about 5' 1'', he's slim too so it's hard to find clothes that fit his long body and arms but that don't look too bulky. Jacket fit great! Yes, a tad bit big, but hey, he's been growing a lot so hopefully he doesn't out grow it too soon! He loves it so much and my mom really loves the quality. If you know a dear kid close to you who only likes to put on a jacket over their shirt and run outside in the cold, this is a MUST buy (especially when it's windy). It really is made to last forever, worth every dollar. Happy with my purchase.

As a mother to a 2 yrs old boy, I will say please don't look any further...the jacket is thick...I mean to even fight Canada winter weather if you need to. Extremely well made...the inside alone speaks of the quality...totally worth the money...I was skeptical spending $50+ dollars for a 2 yrs when he will out grow it. I am super happy I bought a much bigger size so he can wear again next year...as durable as it is, I think I can even pass it on to his coursin or someone and still will look good...I recommend it 100%. You will not be dissapointed...

My son had a carhartt jacket before. He is 15 and doesn’t like the look of all warm jacket. last winter he didn’t want to wear a big down jacket so only wear a sweatshirt and down vest. I was trying to find a jacket that he would like and wear. I guess he want to look less kidlike. I showed him the picture before I ordered it and he said yes to it. He is a small kid and the mens small was enormous on him, but the kids xtra large was perfect with enough room. He says it is warm. Carhartt is very tough wearing so he should have it for a whild.

Excellent quality, just as I’ve come to expect from Carhartt. Lovely quilting inside. Good seams outside. Fits somewhat large, but that’s fine. The hood is a bit too big and would be a better fit and closure if it could have a draw string and/or snaps at the base maybe?? This is fine, though, if wearing something like a knit cap underneath.It’s a nice heavy coat and keeps warm on cold and windy days. This one is okay for 60°F and below, in my OPINION . It would be too hot for days warmer than that, I think.

Purchased this jacket for an 11-year old girl, who is rather on the small side. It was simple to find the appropriate corresponding size for her, and the jacket arrived super quickly! We were thrilled as there were such limited choices at the retail stores, and my husband had been trying to convince us both that she would "just love a camo jacket" until I suggested that we check Amazon for more options. We were much happier with the brown version, as she prefers a simple, nongirly style (but probably not quite to the point of camo print), we got to stay out of the stores during the holiday rush and saved a ton of legwork as the closest store with any similar item was easily 45-60 min away, the jacket is well-sized and of good construction, and it was reasonably priced- particularly with Amazon Prime shipping! (And I looked like a hero for suggesting that we look here. It doesn't get any better than that. :)
