This flashlight is a great value flashlight, and is receiving a 5 star review in relation to price.1. Brightness - it appears to be a true 300 lumens, its about the same brightness as my 60 dollar rechargeable 300 lumen light. the focus isn't as tight as a brighter light, you get much more spall and much less throw than higher end lights. this light is perfect for indoors and working on things within 50 feet.2. build - this light is sturdy and lightweight for a product in its caliber. it has a serrated and raised bezel around the lens to protect from impact. the tailcap also has a raised metal rim to prevent accidental activation as well as a lanyard loop on the end. all the features someone needs in a good tactical/ edc light.3. size/ Weight - the light is smaller than it locks, only a couple inches long, roughly the length of two 123 batteries. its also very light.Cons- the only meaningful shortcoming is the trouser/ hat clip that comes with the light. its flimsy, bends easily and can easily fall off the light. it should not be trusted for retention.''

I love Energizer flashlights and bought this one because of the great experience I've had with my other lights. Unfortunately, the flashlight burns through batteries like crazy! I get about a week's use out of it before I have to replace the lithium battery. (I use it for 10-15 mins max/3-4 times a week at full brightness when I take my dog for her walk at night.) I'm a bit bummed but overall I appreciate its ruggedness and brightness.

This is my second energizer. I have 3 stream lights just like this as well. I need flashlights often and these are wonderful.As a comparison …Lumens are comparable.Low is useful but not over powering.High is bright but doesn’t blind you while using.Strobe honestly I wish fewer lights included this option.The energizer has a warmer more yellow light whereas the stream light has a more white to blue color light. Both work perfectly fine but if you had a preference that might be worth noting.The energizer accepts CR123 only. Not a problem but I do like the option to use AA like the stream light offers. I use rechargeable CR123 batteries and get way better results.The flashlight is metal and the threads seat and hold well. There is a gasket/o-ring for the end cap at the bottom of the threads. The button is smooth and responsive and recessed slightly to be flush with bezel at the rear. One side is slightly cutout allowing a more natural placement of you thumb for operation.Flashlight comes with a belt clip. Bend is small but stiff enough to hold the light in place. The clip can be placed on the top or bottom side to allow different placement options. Placed on the top some may use the light attached to the bill of their ball caps for hands free use. On the bottom the clip allows for an easier removal on a belt or pants pocket.Body of the light is slightly knurled. It does have a smooth finish. In clean hands the light grips well. Not sure how much the knurls would clog up if covered in dirt or other material.When I purchased this flashlight it was $10.00 the stream light is often $45-$60.00.I really like the warmer color light that the energizer uses. The cost is untouchable.Again price versus quality this light is unbeatable. Highly recommend!!

Got a pair and they were a great price and work nice. Be advised the battery is not a AAA. Very compact and the clip is a nice feature

Bought two of these, one works fine, but the other one stopped working after using it for a plumbing job. I did run it for an extended amount of time, but made sure to turn it off every once in a while. If you are looking for an edc flashlight this is not the one. It is a good flashlight for emergencies, to sit there and use when needed, but not often.

This flashlight is very compact, small enough to fit in a woman’s handbag, even smaller bags, also fits easily in a pocket if needed. It is super bright, especially for its size. The two main drawbacks are it doesn’t use a standard size battery, so you will probably not have one on hand unless you have a wide variety of batteries and will have to purchase specifically for this flashlight after the one that’s included at purchase dies. The second issue is potentially more serious and that is the metal area around the bulb gets very hot, with minimal use. For that reason I do not keep it on for long periods and am careful about the type of surface I might rest it on for hands free use.

Yes I would just flashlight for my father. His power goes out or something like that. Just have it as a spare back up. Well after unpacking this putting it in trying it out. I said oh something‘s wrong. Come to find out that the battery with the flashlight had zero power and you could see on the side of the battery where the battery was starting to fall apart and it was leakingso I went out and spent almost the price of the item just to replace a battery. I do feel that something like this should be checked or whoever selling. Very I spent more on the battery than I did on the product just to get it to work. It needs to be a little bit tighter control. Bad battery. I wrote the company, but I had no response. ?))))??????? 👍
