My beard is small, more like a long goatee, and for years I've tried to tame my crazy hairs that grow in every direction and at different rates. Balm, conditioner, pomade, beard oil, mousse and blow dryer like the 1980s, even hanging a big chip clip off of it while oiled in the hopes that the weight would pull the hair straight. Nothing worked for any length of time. Shaved the thing off a couple times in frustration. Got a wild hair (no pun intended) and searched "beard straightener" without any idea that such a thing even exists.Voila! This works amazingly. In 10 minutes my beard is Kenny Rogers straight (though not as epic). The balm and oil smell fine, citrusy but it's very faint. Beard is straight and soft, and was able to trim it properly - it's amazing how random the hair lengths were! Can't beat this kit, and certainly can't beat the price for what you get. Nice wooden comb as well. Highly recommend, you can totally up your beard game with this set. Super fast delivery and the brush looks really classy as well.

This beard oil and balm smells really good and works great. Makes my beard soft and healthy. The brush heats up good and will straighten your beard. Works better for thicker beards.

This is only the beard straightener I've owned, so I'm not sure how long they normally last. After 2 years most of the outer plastic things have fallen off, and most of the ones in the center that cover the hearing elements. Over time it looks like they just get brittle and break off from as little as just placing it on the counter. But it did work well for 2 years.

Never used anything on my beard ever and was amazed how well this inexpensive kit did on the first application. Like I said, I’ve never used anything except regular hair conditioner and I’ve never had a straight beard till now. Put 3 drops of the oil and a smidge of balm. Used the heat brush for 5 minutes and everyone watching me was amazed. My kids said it was too straight and was weird lol ( my beard has always been wavy and wanted to grow to one side) 4 hrs later and it’s still straight and unbelievably soft. I will update if this thing craps out in a week but for a first time use, I’m very very happy

This heated beard brush is perfect. Very simple to use the travelability aspect It is small, but not too small. So you can take it on the go. The functionality of it suited my needs perfectly. If you use a little bit of beer oil when you are straightening your hair, your hair will come out nice straight and soft. I am not too sure if it has a auto shut off feature, but it has three different heat functions, and it gets up to your heat setting very quickly
