I bought these for one simple silly reason, to go to a Van Halen tribute show and blow it during the song Runnin' With The Devil. Now, I really have no reason to down rate these things, I didn't know what to expect and they seem to overall do their job. However, a tribute band handed me a siren whistle to blow during the song, that one in particular, the whistle lasted a bit longer. These, the whistle doesn't seem to last as long. It gets the correct tone for the song, but I wouldn't buy these for this particular song.

We used these during a boat parade. The boats could all hear us and they came closer to our home. We had a huge group of people all using their whistles and laughing at the same time. It was fun and helpful, especially for people that didn’t know how to whistle.

These are VERY poorly made. I've yet to find one in the package that works well. The internal spinning piece (like a fan blade or propellor) is frozen in some of them, so no sound. I was able to get one unstuck, but it still doesn't work well. The "spinner" has no sustain, so even when I find one that spins, it only barely makes a sound while blowing into it.I'm not sure if it's the design or the manufacture that is to blame.

When we invite people with children we always give the kids some of these. Parent's usually take them away and play with them themselves. They're good and loud, and yes, will be annoying, but they're just fun!

Only about half of these fun whistles actually whisled, if you need an exact ammout for a kids party or something get an extra order they are cheap and will wear out or just not work, alright for the price
