Nice
The doc says I need one of these~~getting older and weaker from a bad heart. So I went several places and tried both the 3 wheeled and 4 wheeled scooters. They just did not seem stable to me and shifting from forward to reverse was not fun when I got jammed up either. Then they showed me this power chair. I found it much easier to operate and it maneuvers much better inside the home too as it turns on a dime. Try the two out like I did and you will see what I mean. There is no reverse as all controls are part of the joy stick.I think the only shock you will get is when you find out what it costs to rig one of these devices for your car/SUV!!It only comes with a couple of small baskets for shopping so I am certain you will want to rig up something in the way of a basket for that.Deliver came quickly. I ordered my chair on a Saturday and had it Thursday. Not bad for a freight shipment!Quality appears to be as good or better than most of the brands out there today. The two 18 AH batteries give long life to the motors too.

Well built but heavy.
My mom bought this chair and it is very heavy. We were looking for portability and mobility. The quality is great, however it’s difficult to operate. The joystick is loosey goosy. She was looking for something that can travel in the car and on a plane.

The Pride Go Chair is so great
I have to have both knees and one hip replaced. I use a rolator in the house. Quality of life was starting to go down because I couldn’t go to concert, the fair, etc because I couldn’t walk it even with the rolator. I bought the Pride Go Pro and I’ve started going to concerts again and other places where there would be a lot of walking. You work it by moving the joystick on the arm rest. The only complaint I have is that the horn is such a tiny sound that no one notices it. It comes apart into 4 pieces and stores in a truck or back area of an suv. It will not overcharge if left plugged in all night.

DISAPPOINTING NEW MODEL
I have had four go chairs in the past 12 years and have found them invaluable as I am totally dependent on a wheelchair. They are small enough to get around an apartment or house and easily get into restaurants to pull right up to the table to dine. The problems with this new chair are unique to the latest model: after a year the wheels in the front seemed to lose their balance in normal wear and began to squeak loudly and the ride got bumpy. We had them repaired but the problem has persisted. In addition, the seat covering is a very thin film over cloth that is wearing out at the seams. I cannot imagine what the company was thinking to make such shoddy items. The chair has been a big disappointment for the first time as a regular customer of "GoChairs." This new model looks good but is not built for endurance.
