Perfect fit for my 2009 Suburban
My liftgate release switch stopped working on my 2009 Suburban so I had to either open the liftgate using the fob or the button in the front of the car. After a month, I couldn't handle it anymore so decided to fix it. This GM part was a perfect fit and I was able to replace it in less than 15 minutes. I found an installation video on YouTube which made installation a breeze.

Perfect replacement part for 2012 Tahoe rear hatch release
Works like it should. Looks exactly like the original equipment and bolted right in without issue.Electric plug is exactly the same as the old one.Installed in -5 degree weather in Alaska about a month ago.Long commute to and from work that often ices up the entire rear hatch of the Tahoe, and this replacement part has worked great so far.I highly recommend this part.

Product works as intended
The hardest part was removing the back panel. Once it was off it was a quick install. I used a socket set, a drill, and a set of torx drivers. Its nice being able to use the back door again. Reassembly was a breeze.
