The product looks good. Fit and finish is fine. Buttons seem smooth and crisp. They seem to hit all the controls accurately. I bought a white case so that it would not get too hot in the sun and it might make finding the camera easier if you drop it. Though it might be visible reflected from a shiny target, especially with macro subjects. >>>>>As of 3/8/2020 I have not had this in the water.<<<<<<Only one problem I can foresee. The "O" ring seal is white. If you have fine grains of sand, fibers or dust on the surface of the "O" ring, you may not spot it. ALWAYS use a strong light to check for particles or fibers.I have had 5 other underwater housings and they all had red or blue colored "O" rings which facilitated finding particles and fibers.You will need to block the strobe diffuser window on the housing if you are using external strobes. The fiber optic sockets are on the side of the diffuser and seem to take standard optical fiber cable plugs very well.July31st, 2020Adding to my review. I took the camera and housing on trip to Maui on March 12th. Then Covid-19 hit the fan. I returned from Maui on March 15th. Never dove the camera. Preparing for a tentative trip in the Straits of Mackinac, I looked at the U/W filter. I think it is for saltwater, but noticed a smudge. I fogged the filter and used an appropriate lens wipe, only to discovered the filter is plastic. I scratched it. So if you need to wipe the filter included with the housing, just realize it is a very soft, crappy plastic.

I ordered this for a trip we took to the Maldives.I had to order in advance because we were traveling for 3 moths.The adjustment knob for macro, micro didn't work from day one.Sadly we were in the Maldives before I was able to test it so I was very limited in the depth I could go.I basically have an unusable, non-preforming product that I evidently can't return.I would really encourage people to pay the extra money and buy the OLYMPUS case that goes with the camera.

I was not sure that this was going to work as well as the Olympus version which was a 2x more expensive than this refurbished model from Sea Frog. So I tried everything out at home but you never know until you in the water. The product came without the lens cap I need to call Amazon to find out why, but it wasn't really that necessary. All the buttons work great and I would have liked a little better labeling on the body but overall I eventually figured out everything. Thee housing is solid and closed up tight as a drum without any issues. The documentation is clearly chinese transation but a youtube video gave me good pointers and from there all good I would recommend this especially at this price point, while I was only snorkeling vs. scuba diving I felt that $100 was a good assurance that the camera was going to be in good shape and I could skip putting the camera in fresh water for 1 hour after each use.

This product is well designed and of good quality. However, it has a critical problem. The back wheel, used for changing many of the settings, is not available using the case. This makes it impossible to adjust aperture, shutter speed, and many other settings. If you just want a case to use when in automatic mode, this case will work very well, but it is useless for manual, aperture priority, or shutter priority modes. Beware, the review video is not for the RX100 model and shows a housing model that doesn't have this restriction.

After having 2 Nikon Coolpix that were supposedly waterproof to 30ft - I made the decision to go to the Olympus TG6, AND.....bought this housing to further protect the camera from direct exposure to the ocean.So very glad I made that decision - this product was super easy to use and had awesome snorkeling pics from 10+ days.

I like that the flash of my TG6 camera can work through the frosted flash plate of the housing so I can use fill flash, they really thought out a lot of details like that. Zero issues in dozen dives over a week, next trip is Great Barrier Reef.

May have received a poor case. At least one control bottom does note reach its target. Difficult to attach strobe or lights to the case directly. Very little room to attach lights directly on the case. No room to tighten the connection. Bought and took to a 6-week dive trip and cannot return it. A couple of friends tried it with their TG6 and same complaints. Very frustrating for what appears a good product. May be fine for entire attachments on the bottom of the case. A couple friends had it so with no complaints.
