Great so far
Got here just in time fast shipping which is greatly appreciated I wanted this game for nostalgic reasons I remember playing this in my younger days it brings a lot of good memories now me and my husband can play this together. The disc came in good shape the case eh, a few marks here and there but not a big deal I mean it's just a case holding a disc doesn't have to be in perfect condition I'm not picky about a case as long as the disc plays so far I haven't had any issues with playing it no black screen of death or any errors saying disc can not be read the only thing my PS2 makes a god awful racket when I have the disc in none of my other games makes that noise it gets loud almost like a engine revving up don't know why it does it but its not a problem as long as it doesn't effect my game other than that it's worth the buy and I'm glad I got it me and my husband is going to enjoy playing some real games 🙂👌

This isn't the best Crash Bandicoot at all, but I really liked it! It brings me back good old memories.

Not the Crash you knew
I really wanted to like this game, hoping it'd be just another entry in the Bandicoot series. After giving it a try, it's obvious that something has drastically changed since the CB3. Controlling Crash feels completely foreign, making it very difficult to land where you expect or even orient yourself. The graphics look more modern, but I think they must have rewritten the entire game engine, while CB 1-3 shared the same framework.It was kind of a bummer, but I give it three stars because there were definitely some cool new things they added to the mix. Load times really were as long as other reviewers say, but I was mentally prepared so it was fine.

Was listed as Acceptable condition, but it's better than that. The disk is dang near flawless with just a tiny cosmetic scratch near the center of the disk, label is perfect no blemishes at all, and it got here three days before the estimated window so I'm really happy all around.

Crash Bandicoot is a bargain-basement Taz, a capering, rolling-eyed, dingolike creature. In the few years prior to this game (his PS2 debut), Crash appeared in various PS One titles--usually wannabe Mario platformers, but also the blatant Mario Party and Mario Kart rip-offs Crash Bash and Crash Team Racing.
Never less than fun, yet never a realistic contender when compared to the genre-defining Mario 64, Crash has sometimes received a fairly rough ride from the press. With original developers Naughty Dog passing on the chance to produce a PS2 version, Travelers Tales has created this effort, and in terms of gameplay, there's no progression here whatsoever. This is the Crash we know and tolerate, albeit with fancier lighting effects. All the familiar faces return, including (obviously, given the title) arch-goon Dr. Cortex.
And it's great, as far as it goes. Ignore the on-rails nature of the gameplay and the dismally slow loading times; it's unlikely you'll come across a jauntier, more ridiculous, stupid-brilliant game for some time. As well as the usual platform action, there are mine-cart chases à la Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, hysterically playable Marble Madness-style levels, and secrets, bonuses, vehicles, and new moves. When you add up all the pluses (simple to pick up and play, colorful, loud, and funny), it would be a hard heart that didn't warm to this old coot. --Steve Colton -- .co.uk
