Best vacuum we've had
It is an amazing and powerful vacuum but I'm still debating the price. It's just so expensive. I hope that this is the last vacuum I've ever had to buy.

Extention hose is horrible.
Excellent suction. Easy to use, the wieght is good. But the extention hose is BAD. extremely short, and if you pull it over for it to strexth more than a foot- the entire vacuum falls down, or falls down onto you. Bad engineering on their part. Very disappointing for an $800 vacuum.

Great vacuum, but....
I wanted to love this vacuum. It is definitely the most powerful vacuum I've ever used and cleans floors superbly. Also, for a heavy machine, it maneuvers easily. It also fits underneath furniture better than I anticipated. Now the but... The handle plugs into the base and is supposed to lock in place via a switch. However, the locking mechanism on my vacuum was flawed and I could never get the handle to lock securely. Each time I used the vacuum, the handle would come unplugged at least once - most often 2 or 3 times. Very frustrating - especially for a vacuum at this price point. Sadly, I'm returning the vacuum for this reason.

Powerful, efficient, sturdy vacuum for cleaning business
I have used this vacuum almost every day for 1 1/2 years for my cleaning business. I love it! I wanted an upright because it’s easier to maneuver quickly and the instant hose is versatile and easy/fast to use. I use attachments to vacuum upholstery, pet beds, stairs. The motor is powerful and suction great. I love that it is easy to maintain. It has easy access to all parts to quickly remove clogs. I worked for cleaning company before and their vacuums kept breaking down, bot not this one- well made, intelligent design!

I love this vacuum, with a slight caveat
This is the second “good” vacuum I’ve ever owned. I have a Meile C1 that sees daily use in a family home of 6, and it runs flawlessly. At one point, I had a Meile upright (lower price point) and it was a surprising dud. I went through a series of cheaper uprights, all probably worse quality than something my 12 year old could create out of Legos and a straw. After much research, I landed on the Sebo G4. Initial reaction: wow. This thing can CLEAN. I mean, I’m literally jazzed by the sound of the motor- it sounds so powerful. I feel powerful using it. LOL. Anyway, I seem to be having the same issue Stephanie (other reviewer here) has with the locking mechanism failing. During one run, it separated multiple times, cutting the power each time. VERY frustrating. I have used it since though, tweaking the lock a bit, and it seems to be a non-issue now. However, it is lurking in the back of my mind every time I use it, so we shall see. Luckily, it is under a great warranty, so no worries there. I am just shocked that an otherwise gorgeous machine would have such a silly Achilles heel. I might resort to duct tape, I love it otherwise so much. My husband who is an engineer is going to take a hard look at it, so I’m keeping it for now and hoping for the best.
