Wera ratchets are very good.
(update 7Jan2022) I have watched a ton of tool videos and since bought (3/8") ratchets from Tekton, Duralast, Icon and Nepros , and a couple more. I have issues. The Wera are a very good value and terrific performance. I still use them. Specifically the Wera 1/4" and 1/2". You will not be upset if you buy these. They are made very well. Same for the other brands mentioned above. They continue to look good and work perfectly after lots of use. They are very solid tools.(Original post) I have every size of this tool. I have never used a Snap-on or other super expensive brand (Nepros is up there). I have Tekton wrenches, I love them. I have this tool in Craftsman, alltrade, and husky. I'm only buying Wera (I contradicted myself with the above update). This tool is perfect. I like it way better than the Snap On/American style handle. It is solid to work with. All my sockets fit.

Excellent quality
These are not the cheapest tools, but excellent build quality. Worth the money if you use them a lot.

Best ratchet on the market.
Best price for one of the best ratchets out there. Most companies are now all made in China. Wera make one of the best and most comfortable ratchets around. The handle design fits the hand perfect and has a smooth ratchet function. You can’t go wrong with Wera

Great product
Like always you get what you pay for it!!! Wera tools 🛠️ are pricey but if you’re able to get it, congratulations!!! I have few sets of tools from them and it’s a great tool!

Great ratchet
I bought this to fill in for my zyklop ratchet that came with a set. The one in the set needed to be replaced and was done so quickly this one did not have to do too much work at all. I still have it for the stuff I do not want to get oil on the one in the set with.

Darn nice ratchet
I bought a Wera ratchet a little while back just to try it out. I fell in love with it, so I bought this one, and it also doesn’t disappoint. Feels good in hand, selector is smooth, and the pawl engages without a hiccup. It’s slightly longer than most ratchets, which is nice.

Quality
So far it seems to be a durable ratchet, and the rotation required to lock in is the smallest of any of my ratchets. I gave it 4 stars because it's ability to take a beating, and actually turn a bolt in minimal space has saved me time and time again. It lost a star because my AC Delco socket set won't seat on it.

Very good ratchet!
Given their poor quality and missing sizes in their socket sets, I was very surprised with this Wera steel ratchet, very good switch lever ratchet 1/4 drive with slightly longer than normal handle. It feels good in your hand. The only negative is I see no way to service or repair the tool. I guess it’s not made to be repaired. Would buy again, thanks!
