Great lure!
I have the 1 5/8 in. 3/32 oz. Rebel Trac down in Slick Black Minnow and Slick Gold. I have caught Blue Gill, and other Sunfish as well as Crappie. (Included a few pics from Easter Sunday afternoon 2023) The pond I fish in the most also has some small black bass in it but I honestly don't remember if I have caught any on this lure. They will hit it, as I have caught them for sure on the Rebel CrickHopper Cricket and Rebel Crawfish, and Rapala floating minnow lures, all of which are similar.I used this one today, as it was a bit windy, so I wanted a lure that would sink a bit. I cast it on ultra lite gear using 15 lb braid (4 lb mono equivalent size) with a 12 - 16 inch 6 lb. mono leader. I have good quality gear, so I can cast it up to about 50 feet, depending on the wind. Today I caught most fish while twitching the lure with 2 or 3 short twitches / pause / 1 twitch / pause / 2 twitch / pause, etc. after letting it sink about 1 to 2 feet. A few came on a slow steady retrieve, about 4 - 7 cranks of the reel handle then a pause, then back to a slow steady retrieve for another 3 - 5 cranks of the reel handle. Repeat and vary. Some strikes were subtle, but a couple of those bluegill and Green Sunfish really hammered it! Lots of fun on light tackle! If you get the small one like I have, you must have some decent ultra lite gear or you won't be able to cast it very far. Keep line diameter 4 lb mono or less size.I lost one today on an under water stump. Fishing from the shore has it's disadvantages... trees, submerged cover... but I always carry 2 - 5 of these in my tackle box, just in case.Get ya a couple and enjoy!

One of my favorite lures in my collection. A must for casual fishing.
This is one of my favorite lures in my collection. I found the silver and black minnow (I believe it's the 1 inch version) at a local fishing garage sale for about 2 dollars and man was I happy to get this lure. First off let me say that I live on a small man made lake that doesn't have many big fish. There is plenty of bluegill, some small large mouth bass and some large ones with an occasional crappie, walleye or bullhead. The reason I love this lure so much is that it's able to catch these small fish easily. The hook size for the 1 inch minnow is perfect for casual fishing in my lake. I use it primarily on a lighter rod and reel because i think it would be a little ridiculous having this thing on a 7ft rod but that's just me. It has great wobbling action through the water and jerking it or making it dive slightly is great for enticing fish into biting the minnow. I love throwing it near the cover of the dock on hot days because it does a good job at bringing the fish out of that cover. It looks real too and it's easy to cast and use. In my opinion it's perfect for anyone learning how to use a lure or just wanting a lure for casual fishing(Those days when you just want to catch fish no matter how big or small). I haven't caught any monsters on this lure but then again my lake lacks a lot of large fish to begin with and I doubt this size could hook a large fish. I loved my original black minnow so much I also purchased the rainbow trout one (2 inch version i believe) on Amazon recently because I wanted to use it when I go trout fishing. The lure looks great and feels great just like the black minnow and I'm sure it will work just as well.

Nice
Old school lure. Just with it had ball bearing in side for casting distance.

little gold lure for big bass
This lure was a surprise. I ordered it by mistake, and put it on the rod just to see how it casted. I caught 6 large bass in the next 30 minutes. Fish it slow with a few jerks and the big bass hit it hard and frequently. I just bought a second one for my grandson. He hasn't had much luck with bass and this will get him a few fish in short order. It has a nice wiggle and it sinks slowly to get down to the fish, but no so fast that it gets snagged on the bottom.

Good quality and catches fish!
This is my go-to lure. I fish cold high altitude lakes mostly from my kayak. This is a great lure to get down to where the fish are. It lets me fish all the different depths depending on the time of day. Sometimes I just throw it out the back of the kayak and start paddling around (I get restless). Of course fish will bite on different things depending on the location and time of year but this is one I always have in my box. No issues at all with quality.

Not as consistent as they could be
I had one of these that had fantastic action. I lost it on a hook set and bought another here to replace it. The replacement doesn't swim like the old one. Could be a fluke, but who knows for sure.
